Tried one years ago-minus the tremolo. Was really surprised how versatile it was. Even more surprised with how comfortable it was to play. If I wasn't already set, I'd grab one in a heartbeat.

Im a huge Rhoads V fan as you can tell by my profile pic. Those are my 2 favorites an rr3 and a Kevin Bond signature model I had a neck pickup routed into it and dropped some EMG's in. I have 15 Rhoads v's in total.
Only unpractical to play sitting down. And then you put it between your legs and play like any other v shape. I love playing it standing tho and any genre you throw at it sounds surprisingly good. Surf tones are nice
I get the feeling this bad boy would be great for pop punk and experimental music as well as metal obviously. Once my life's back on track I'm definitely gonna buy one. Also, R.I.P Randy, I can't fathom how much insanely good music we missed out on because of that damned plane crash.
I was just watching a George Harrison interview and there was a pic of him holding his Rickenbacker 12 string from 1964 and it had those shark tooth inlays.
i had it! but i didn't like the thin neck, too thin to be an RR, also it had thin binding in comparison to an RR japan, looks like an RR but is doesn't feel like having a RR , the neck is too different even from the japan series, the only thing I liked was the balance, the look of the guitar and the fact that has R3 NUT. for 1k is not what I was looking for than I sold it, cheers
i kinda find it funny that Randy had a shark designed guitar and so did eddie and they were big rivals hahaha but im sure they are having beers together in heaven jamming now
did you know Degan Randy Rhoads orriganal concord had 4 gold knobs and her Pickup switch was on the top left by the neck and it didnt have a Floyd Rose but pictures of him with are fucking coo lRock In Peace Randy Rhoads

I just bought a Jackson X Rhoads RRX24 Red with Black Bevels from pmt...not very happy... it didnt come in original box also no dive bar for the floyd rose..marks all over input jack no paperwork...im propa pissed off...big fan of dagan and his vids but im not gona use pmt again...i know that this guitar is ex demo as it has marks on it...plays ok but still they done me on this one...
My absolute dream guitar. Randy Rhodes is my idol and I'm currently saving for a Jackson Js32T (mid range version of this)

Amazing! Always loved Rhandy Rhodes it is a shame he was taken from us so early. A V guitar seems a little impractical to me.
It does change playing style a little. It’s a dream to play standing, though. At least, that’s how it is in my experience

I've got an old one. The string spacing is super wide. My new ones neck reminds me of a ibanez kinda. Super thin lol.

This model has the JB/59 set by S.Duncan NOT the SH-6 Distortion.
If you gonna do a demo for it,maybe first look up the correct specs, just saying....
I own one of these and it absolutely comes with SH-6 pickups, they where available on the 2019 year model, the current model specs have the JB/59
