I love tallow soap. I have never used shampoo, though.

Thank you so much, especially for the info on cleaning the utensils. No one else has addressed this. I am excited to make my first batch.

Hi Angela, I'm a California transplant to North Augusta, SC. I came across your TH-cam channel and have watched so many the last week.
Great bread recipes. I stumbled across your soap vid.
    Quick question:
Can I use our pig lard instead of beef tallow?
Also how do you use the bar? Do you rub the bar In Your hands to limit how much soap goes onto your hair or do you rub the bar onto your hair? Sorry, dumb questions but this is all new to me. I have the same equipment you have so I'm off to play with soap
❤😅 have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving! And thank you for all your hard work. It's all so helpful for me. CG

I have been looking for a shampoo bar how to. Been making soap for a bit but not this. Going to give it a try. Thanks so much!

Do you need a separate conditioner? Also, heard that you need to strip your hair before using these bars. True or not?

I have seen it mentioned to do a detox first. I never have, I just jumped straight to it. It is also mentioned by others to do an apple cider vinegar rinse after using it if your hair is tangled, but I have never had to do that. I do not use a conditioner afterward. It is completely manageable after using only the shampoo bar. I will elaborate on this more in the Q&A video and may even show me using this bar as an example of how to use it.

Hi! I know this is an older video. I recently injured my knee and have been laid up in bed. I came across your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Do you have a video tutorial for your hand soaps? I love these types of videos and would love to learn more from you!

About to attempt to make these tallow shampoo bars, thank you so much for this video! Very informative and makes the process seem less intimidating for me. Beyond excited to embark upon this journey of ditching the unnatural chemical compound shampoos/conditioners etc. I'm 37 and my hair is beginning to thin and has been falling out more than it ever has even after having my 3 kids so I am hoping the benefits of rosemary oil, tea tree, oil of oregano and tallow will help me with that issue.

You've got this!! I hope it went well for you. I need to make more, too. We're out!!! My girls love these bars, too. My oldest daughter actually uses the bar instead of using shaving cream. I've tried it, and it leaves your skin much smoother after. Those oils have many great benefits. 😊

This is so helpful! If I was to add a kaolin clay to half of this shampoo soap recipe, how much would I need to add?
