Remembering Harshan

In loving memory of Harshan by Class of 97 (Sainik School, Kazhakootam)
Capt Harshan R Ashok Chakra (Posthumous)(15 April 1980 - 20 March 2007) was a paratrooper in the 2 PARA (Special Forces) of the Indian Army. He was honoured with the Nation’s highest peacetime gallantry award “Ashok Chakra” for his exceptional courage, fighting spirit and supreme sacrifice.
He was our classmate, a brother and a shining light in our shared days in Sainik School, Kazhakootam (SSKZM). As we gather for our 25th school reunion, a shadow marks the place where he once stood. We carry him with us, in our hearts and in our memories, forever cherished, forever missed.
