Wonderful ageless classic Herati pattern in a very rare and seeked after “near square size” with an extremely fine weave and high knot count density from one of the best workshops from the city of Tabriz, in Azerbaijan province of Persia. Field color is midnight blue with a central medallion and corner spandrels in ivory, green and burgundy colors. Border is in burgundy with a palmate design. The ageless beauty of this Tabriz Mahi design carpet was done in one of the best artisan workshops in the city of Tabriz and has a very fine weave. The border beauty speaks for itself.
