I'm so glad to see that someone kept this in original condition. Too many times these rare cars are destroyed by someone modifying them. I love seeing these American beauties on the road.
I rode in two 1959s as a small child ; one a convertible (Olympic white , red leather)., and pewter coupe, and never got over how thrilling they ARE ! It's amazing how Cadillac built such magnificent legends of cars, still loved & desired . Thank goodness for people who preserve them .
Amazing. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Back in the late 70s, when I was in high school but before I started driving, a 20-something guy showed up at our church, driving a 1960 flat top, which he showed off to the car guys like me and my best friend. The next week he showed up in a 1958 Chevy Brookwood wagon. So the guy had two classic cars. They were so cool. Anyway, that one there is just amazing. I'm blown away.
Absolutely stunning! Love the color and the 1960 is the most beautiful Caddy, in my opinion. I know you paid over 50K for that car! Being the base 62 series explains why there's no power windows. Best of luck with this amazing LEGEND!
This is a really nice car. I never realized how big a Cadillac, especially from 1960 like this one, actually was. The color looks good on this Cadillac, even though I don’t like black cars. Your mom scored a home run by deciding to buy this car. It looks all original and runs well. An award-winning one to have here at a car cruise. Keep the car in the best shape and it will last longer. Awesome. 👍🏻😀❤😊
Beautiful car! And I guarantee you that the windows go up and down! 😊 Interesting trivia: this era Cadillac add mercury switches for the trunk light. (No, I don't mean like the Mercury car but like the heavy metal)..the mercury in the switch shifts when you open the trunk lid, completing the circuit to turn on the light. But sometimes when transporting the cars at an angle it makes the trunk light stay on the entire time is being shipped and it can fully drain the battery. Ditto if you park on a steep slope.
I hope your keeping this one Sarah. It's immaculate for an almost sixty-five year old Caddy. Where did you find this one? You and your family rock with these Cadillacs. Enjoy your Sunday. God Bless.
What a nice car. Truly a black beauty! Thanka Sarah!
A very well preserved car and a well deserved trophy!
Thank you!!

Wow, that car is in amazing, original condition! It is like it was wrapped in Saran Wrap and kept in a refrigerator for the last sixty years.
Beautiful Vehicle 😊
- mom had good taste in cars.
Are you keeping this one?

Back when a Cadillac was a Cadillac

Wow. First 60 Caddy I have ever seen with factory dual exhaust.

Belongs in a museum.
My grandfather bought the same exact car in this color, new in 1960 for $6000.00
That’s AWESOME!!!
We had a black 59 series 62 two door coupe. $4500 new.
It's beautiful. Do you have any 62s or 64s over there? Those are my favorites.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. This is a Classy vehicle ! That is what they were mented to be 🍩☕️👀😎👍🍩☕️👀😎👍

A real Cadillac, not a plastic one.
Wow, that car must have been kept in a climate controlled, dust and dirt free locker. It looks perfect.
