Hi Sarah! Glad to see another video on this ‘48 flavor Caddy. I do remember the day when car parts were refurbished/rebuilt instead of being a throwaway. Guess that is what separates the mechanics from the assemblers. (PS: I am so thankful for God’s peace! One month on Veteran’s Day).

With the sediment bowl on top, it looks like the fuel pump is upside down!

Those are good fuel pumps,as long as rebuild kits are available I would use them, better than the ones today that crap out after a year or so

In 1955 in Ottawa, Canada, the Simpson-Sears store celebrated its Grand Opening with a lucky ticket draw (and correct answer to a question from the store’s catalogue). The prize was a 1956 Cadillac Coupe de Ville identical to the car in your video, that beautiful yellow, with a white roof. An acquaintance of my father won the car. At the time the acquaintance was driving a Rover P4. Great video. At the end I wondered if your following the car spooked the driver. He seemed to be trying to escape . . . .

So, I guess our Pastor is the “Captain”; however, Jesus remains the “Supreme Commander”. That’s fine. Thank you Sarah!

Love that yellow... mine is black with a white top.... if I had that same interior, I would change the color of mine.... - so right, so great to see them driving on the road !!!! If only I could finish the 77 eldorado and get to the 56. The eldo power steering pump with hydroboost decided to fail....this is after the water pump failure, rad repalcement, power steering line cooling tube replacement, transmission cooling line replacement, batter, carb, altenrator, tune up parts, you know, old car stuff....but I did get the 4 horn set up from a 73 Eldo today at the junkyard !! One of the Caddies is getting that trumpet horn. Thanks !
