- It’s time for a new adventure in Costa Rica! Fly with me from El Salvador to begin a brand new exciting journey to the most biodiverse country in the world. Costa Rica’s wildlife is something I’ve always wanted to see, so join me on my first day where I get to see a wild sloth taking a nap at the beach and more!
First stop, San Jose! As this is my first time in Central America alone, I have to be extra cautious of my surroundings in the capital of Costa Rica. After flying in, I get the bus to San Jose city and take another bus from Tracopa Bus Terminal to Manuel Antonio, which takes 2 hours longer than expected! Time to rest after a long travel day.
My first full day in Costa Rica at the beach is full of mouth-watering ceviche and relaxation. Playa Biesanz has it all from kayaks to rent, massages on the beach, and a bar, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon soaking up the sun and cooling off in the ocean.
After some time nestled away at the beach, we decided to check out the local cuisine at a soda, the place to enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices - especially in expensive Costa Rica! Casado de carne was a real treat as my first time trying traditional Costa Rican dishes. Did I mention that the supermarket is the same price as going out to a restaurant?
Speaking of the supermarket I then headed to Joseth to find the best snacks, and found a tasty chocolate locally made in the heart of Costa Rica. Watch to see if I liked it!

I was going to write the same. That toucan is the type of the one showed in the Fruit Loops 😂😂 In Costa Rica we have several types of toucans. I hope you enjoyed our country. ¡Pura vida!
The trees are papaya trees not cashew (we also have cashew but it's not those)
