I'm still using this action cam everytime I ride my hardtail MTB. Two things I love about it are the sound quality and video stability. Still awesome after so many years.

I'm using it for my karting race and it's the best action camera I use up to now!
the minus: the sd card when you insert it it doesn't detect it until you play insert and remove few times
outside of that highly recommanded

Hi. I'm having trouble connecting my sony cam to my live view device and app. Does any one have the same problem? Seem the wifi connection won't work or something.

This camera is is a bit tricky when you inserting the Mini Card in, but it takes an Excellent Movies and time lapses! Just fantastic resolution at 1080/60. So small and compact, yet incredible little camera! Love it! Michael.

How does this compare to Apeman Trawo ?
1) Can I do a setting, mount the camera upside and still take videos right side up just like a GoPro cam?
2) Is it water resistant like say, ok in light rain?
1) Yes. There are settings in the menu to flip the image upside/down and mirror it. Otherwise, you can do this with most video editing software applications. (I prefer Kdenlive)
2) with the included housing, it is waterproof

How to use the live stream
I know , many people love gopro , bro... but sony is better than gopro. Also, when you are using gopro on wind . The voice is horrible than your video is coming useless.... thank you for video.

@@moarmoto9 i got myself one, no you can't plug in an external mic. maybe with a microusb to aux adapter but the port is on the bottom and pretty much blocked by the case or what ever you screw the cam onto. But you could always record audio with your phone on an external mic
mate i would like your help...i bought this action cam and i have a serious issues with the setup....every video that i record has bad quality and at the end the file i get is not crispy clear....btw your video at 9:15 is from as50?is very clear and i wish i have the same really....i don't know what is going on
Make sure you're filming at 1080p 60fps, make sure you have a good SD Card. Did you get the camera from a legitimate retailer??
@@GeekyStuff i am filming at 1080p 60fps (NTSC to PAL),the memory that i use is the Sandisk Ultra 128GB A1 Class 10,and i bought this camera from Sony...if you want check the last video on my channel and i am sure you are going to realize the difference very quickly....look the trees,my rods,my reels,even the ground...nothing is clear.

i think this video is recorded with another cam. I have the best card, best settings and image is crappy. My xiaomi 9 pro records better quality video
HELLO! I just bought this camera and i just realize the video quality is so poor. I expected to get good quality as the last video you recorded in this video. Can anyone help me with the settings? and a good miscrosd card and sony vegas render settings? Thank you

@@mohdsufupanaliosman9600 Hi. I just set. FHD XAVC 60 FPS. The quality is pretty acceptable, not clear as i wanted but i can use it.

A. If footages is 5cking MEGA OVERXPOSED, then footage taken by Sony camera. Example 10:30.

Really didn't like this review. I just wanted to clear footage of the camera. You did a time lapse as 720p and some speeded up recording. Just get to the point please.

@@GeekyStuff it's hard for me to belive you recorded with hdr as50. I have the best memory card, best settings and the image is not that clear. Make another video and show us your settings and the video recorded with it please. thanks

The video footage of that camera looks like garbage compared to GoPro. And lets be honest, we are on a continual quest to find a camera cheaper in price with Gopro quality footage. We are better off getting a reconditioned older model Gopro like the Hero 5black or newer for the same price as the lesser quality brand cameras.
