Quarantine is tough. I'm gonna miss my freshman hs season cuz of it but I'm still grinding everyday hitting off the tee and lifting. Praying I will make it to the MLB. Love the videos and keep up the good content!
Sympoint it sucks to miss the season. I’m s sophomore and this was supposed to be my first season playing varsity. I felt really good about this season adding a couple good pitches.
My grandson is a excellent All Star baseball player. He loves baseball. But he has found another love. Basketball. He has been recruited by several travel ball teams. But he said he is not interested in playing baseball so much that he cannot play basketball and soccer. My grandson is smaller than his peers. But he has developed himself into a 3 point shooter. In his league no other kids shoots 3 pointers. My grandson opens his team up for success shooting 3 pointers because it makes the other team double and triple team him trying to stop him. So that the other star on his team and get to the net much easier. His dream is to be a professional sports player. He said if it is baseball cool basketball or soccer. He does care as long as he gets to play. I HATE basketball..but I have learned to love love it for him. I have never picked up a basketball until I start working with him. He know teaches me all kind of shots. And he loves the trick shots. His daddy is his cach....but my grandson will not let him coach him. So I coach him and while he is playing in league the assistance coach teaches him. I am going to show him this video. Because my grandson is very aware of his smaller size. I tell him it is his heart that has to be big and he can control that.
Great videos. I agree about pushing kids away from the game. I also year you on the parent part too.Lol. I found myself watching her first basketball game and I had to walk out so I didn't blow up.🤣🤣 I'm blessed to realize quickly the parental monster I could've been!! I coached little league 5-9 year olds before I had my princess.Shes 9 now and I'm grateful she loves sports. Thanks guys.
Thanks for the vid coach. Always enjoy when you do one with Nick. I can hear his passion for the game come through when he talks about baseball. Glad you two stayed 6 feet apart. 😂 I know this virus has got to be hard on coaches like you and Nick.
Hey coach thanks for the video. I also needed some help with throwing with control and accuracy. Can you make a video to help me. Also I need help boosting my velocity. Thanks coach
if you guys do a camp please come to St.Louis Missouri. There is a great high school called Lutheran Hight St. Charles and would love to see you guys there. I will be going into to 8th grade so if you do come out here and do a camp make it include 8th grade so I can come and train and learn from you guys.
Hey coach madden I'm a 15 year old from a smaller town in GA. I have a tremendous amount of passion and am willing to do anything it takes to get to pro levels of my game. I hardly ever have anyone to practice with and practicing by myself is hard speaking that I have no tee and very few baseballs. I was wondering what steps I can take to put myself in a better position to play at an MLB level. Really hoping for a reply! Thanks in advance if you do!
Red Wings Fan no, honestly my friend it doesn’t have anything really to do with genetics, I went to a pitching camp with the National pitching association and they were able to tell us how fast we should be throwing and at 12 years old they said I was supposed to be able to throw 76 but I was throwing 64. It honestly just depends on how much you work and how much time you spend with your craft.
Red Wings Fan that’s the best thing to do my friend, I’ve just been working as much as I can lately getting in extra batting and fielding work as well as pitching. I’m just trying to get ready for highschool next year, what grade are you in?
This is actually great advice for guys like myself that are in their mid to late 30's that are on rec leagues. Thanks for the advice!
Y’all nailed it on the confidence. I just gotta remember that it’s a habit; not a trait
This is genius, this is legitimately worth a try, after quarantine is over

How much do genetics play a role? I'm 15 and throw around 70. Is that too slow even if I'm accurate?
