    Caller 1, let me try to address your problem since Nick seemed to get lost in his own thoughts about career ambition…
    Your ex proved to be more into your boobs than into you as a person. That is VERY disappointing. But it doesn’t mean that you have lost value because you got a breast reduction. If anything, you have downsized the thing that attracts superficial idiots like him. Keep going with you head held high. That guy is the boob. You are very young and guys your age are likely to be immature. Keep your eyes open and give it time. I’m proud of you for shutting that relationship down the moment he revealed himself to be so hurtful and shallow!

    I think a good barometer for whether you should speak out publicly about a negative experience with a vendor, is to ask yourself if my bad review led them to be put them out of business, would I be ok with that? Was this vendor so bad that they should not be operating? If it wasn’t THAT level of bad, then I would just move on and not recommend them to people.

    • @mrsjessicasmith
      @mrsjessicasmith 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I read reviews for so many things before purchasing... I think people would like to hear real experiences clients have had before choosing a vendor.

      @@mrsjessicasmithdefinitely but to use a platform so large to call someone out if it isn’t an offense that ruined their wedding or not delivering on promised services is overkill (sounds like this 2nd vendor they’re upset with didn’t do either and he’s just mad after the fact, I think the hair stylist deserved to be called out). They could just write a review on google or the knot like the rest of us instead of using their social media or podcast and potentially ruining someone’s business lol

    i don’t know the full story behind the vendor, but i would use your platform to highlight & amplify the vendors that did a stellar job instead of using it to disparage the ones that didn’t - you don’t want to put them out of business, but you might wanna leave a review to inform future customers & that’s the difference 🙏

    I feel like you and Natalie should do a wedding episode catered to things to watch out for/information for brides-to-be. That way you could throw shade towards specific vendors without the possible repercussions of defamation. Suggesting things to watch out for in contracts, questions to ask to limit potential confusion, and stuff like that! :)

      I watch enough Judge Judy to know that it's not defamation or slander. This is America where we have the first amendment, if you went to someone for business and you were dissatisfied with their business, you have every right to state that you were dissatisfied with their business. It would only be slander or defamation if you said things that were untrue or fabricated within intent to ruin them. It's one thing if I said "I didn't like the way this hairstylist did my hair." & "I didn't like the way this woman did my hair and she's a crackhead."

    Wowwa, this episode trigger every part of my life...first, I want to say that u gave very sound advice to both callers. Second, I can totally relate to caller #3. I was a very late bloomer (according to standards today) to intimacy (22yrs old heterosexual) & my very first boyfriend gave me HIV. I never got married or had children. I did meet a guys that I told & we dated for awhile, but haven't been with anyone since. I'm 65 now & speaking from experience it is harder to tell a guy than it was to tell my parents. I did tell 2 other guys cuz I have to tell them once we're gonna b intimate & they ghosted me so fast my head spun. I've basically given up on relationships all together. I hope caller #3 gives his interest a chance bcuz I can tell u in the straight world guys will run. I wish him so much luck & happiness. 🙏✨️💞

They don’t need your business again however my friend is in the bridal business and trust and believe it really matters that they do outstanding job even though you don’t tire them again just for the reputation because otherwise nobody gonna hire their company again, so it really matters that the client is really happy. It has nothing to do with hiring them again or not it has to do with what happened after you’re done with the next person.

    What is the reason to the season ? Criticism is constructive . The Barbie & Ken world . What happened to happiness in a relationship ? When he looses his pants & she is pregnant how many times ! Providing for a family is a problem for some people. When your young , clothes are different . Weddings are an expense . The poverty is camouflaged . How hot is a relationship ? Is there jealousy in clothes & a hot couple ? Get accused when marijuana is thrown at you or put in your nose . Jealousy is the villain !

    I 💯 believe that you should share your good and bad experiences. You owe it to your public audience. If shoe was on the other foot, you would want to know if a vendor were bad in order to not hire. If you knew ahead of time you wouldn’t have hired them and in the end you would have had a better weeding experience.

    In my opinion, Nick and Natalie should list the type of vendors they hired. If they would work with them again, name them and recommend them. If there are holes where a vendor didn’t get named then the audience will know without having the risk causing any true harm to the vendors business.

Nick is being thoughtful and considerate in the situation (mores than I think anyone else would be in his position) because he has an enormous following and he knows if he speaks negatively about a vendor it will reach a large number of people and possibly affect their business. In my opinion he has every right to share his opinion about the vendors. We as listeners are interested in his and Natalie's experience.
