I love these paddock tours! Especially the looks inside the cockpit of the GTPs. I'm very into chassis numbers so it would be really cool to get videos of those. On the Porsches they're on the passenger side dashboard and on the Cadillacs and BMWs they're just under the drivers side door.
You know, cockpit views are hit and miss. Some teams, in particular factory teams like Penske, know me and restrict access at times. I think I really irritated them when the 963 first came out last year. I was taking very close views of the entire car at scrutineering. They tried to throw me out. Trade secrets I suspect. I felt bad because it was the last thing I wanted to do . I'm more cautious now and always ask for permission. Thanks for watching.
Cheers my friend. I have over 100 more comments to respond to and have reached you in Thailand, another in Finland and another in Italy. What do we all have in common, we love racing as its global and can touch the lives of us all. Cheers again to you. Thanks for watching and be sure to catch my paddock tours next month an HSR in Road Atlanta.
Thanks for the kind words. I am a one-man show of whom tries to show you the paddock real time with nothing but a cell phone and no editing or graphics. This way, you get to see it usually an hour after being filmed (dependent on uploading time). I do make mistakes and apologize, Good news is that I will be at Watkins Glenn, VIR twice, Road Atalanta and Indianapolis. Some venues I will attend twice for IMSA, SRO and HSR races. Thanks do much for viewing.
Hey there Andy, thanks for watching again. It was a great weekend. Travel ride time wears me out. I'm going to cut a few events this year. See you next time.
I try to get cockpit views of every car that I can. IU have asked teams to open them if not. On the first day of set-up, they are too busy to accommodate my wishes. This is why I will 2 or 3 paddock tours each event, Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching.
I will tell you this, the LMP2s are fantastic prototypes. Their Gibson V8s sound fantastic and the BOP handicap them from ballast weight and a reduction of 40hp. so that they are slower than the GTPs of which are 10 times more expensive. Thanks for watching and see you next month in Atlanta.
Being a Corvette guy, I'm sure you know that GM and Mobil have routinely had special promotions at Sebring. This one was no different except more brands and manufactures were brought on-board because Mobil 1 was the title sponsor. I like it better this way because Daytona is too busy with many things going on, and Sebring not. I was surprised to see Lexus, Porsche and others with the 50th anniversary liveries.
probably an error on my part. I record these live by myself with a cell phone and have to think about many aspects at one time. In order to upload at the event so that you can see them right away, there is no chance for a redo, edit or fancy graphics. I'm glad that you and others catch my mistakes as it shows that your attentive, knowledgeable and are watching more than just 2 minutes. Thanks for keeping me honest.
I get it. Le Mans makes me jealous every year as I know that I will probably never get to see it. The good news, we in the states have IMSA and SRO. We are blessed. Do you get to see any races and if so, where. Thanks for watching.
@@markzebr6463 Unfortunately the last Endurance race I've seen was the Utah Grand Prix ALMS race at Miller motorsports Park, I believe in around 2006. It was good fun.
Thanks for tuning in, You are correct, It was the 50 years of the Mobile 1 12 Hours of Sebring. My videos are live unedited Walk throughs and all mistakes are final. I promise you the next time I will have much more coffee or be much more hungover from the night before.

Love that you showed the Cadillac cockpit clearly...Forza actually got that pretty correct!

Shot of the lmp2 minus front clip...massive front tires!

Interesting that there are more special liveries for sebring than daytona
