Which is an option given to permanent Commission officers. Also SS officers (actually no officers) can resign from army till they serve the bond period. The only difference between a permanent officer and short service office is the MATHS paper during CDS
Training of #Ssc is 12 momth and #PC is 18 month and in case of #NdA it is 4 year
