Reminds me of that (animated?) short Marine put out of Marine being the mother of a magical girl. That was some of the most hilarious magical girl satire I have seen in a long time.
After finding her daughter's magical wand Marine confronts her daughter like a parenting confronting their kids after finding their drug stash. Marine laments how she wasted her youth helping ungrateful people as a magical girl instead of studying, and now she is stuck as a single mom in a dead end job with an "ungrateful daughter" also throwing her life away being a magical girl instead of studying like she should be. 🤣
Seriously though, that does seem like a good plot to base an anime off of or something.

Joke aside, if you tried to trace the origins of magical girl genre deep enough, you'll find Bewitched really is the inspiration for some of the earliest shows that can be classified under "magical girl".
There is Okusan Wa Mahou Shoujo, but besides its title it's nothing special. The Witchblade anime is ironically a better "magical woman" show.

i still remember marine talking about all HoloX member after debut and planning to collab with all of them, and she did it.. she's the first senior who collab with them, even i still remember she got called as "a mother of holo X" 😂 because she always proud to talk about them.. she even use Iroha mascot as her partner stream in holo mariokart, treating Lui so nice as her kami oshi, laughing so hard with koyori, talk about a fun moment with iroha, and giving La+ so much advice to her.
As Magical Girl and Hololive fans, Wow the Magical Girl of Hololive is really awesome, and also Holowitches what a beautiful and cute name for this project anyway can't wait for Magical Girl in action. By the way, this gives me Sailor Moon and Precure vibes.
