The acting was beautifully executed and was so totally engrossing I had to stop what I was doing and just sit down to listen. 1st mistake: They only took 15 rounds each... That's not enough to ensure safety in emergency, it's better to take as many as you can fit in your person just in case.
I love these stories! The only thing I don't like, IMHO, is when it gets super fanciful and elaborate when explaining the creatures... Like the red eyes, or other very unbelievable exaggerated features. Part of the vibe is your imagination knowing that it wouldn't be far out impossible for these things to exist, then all the sudden they're shooting laser beams out their eyes or breathing fire, just takes the Umph out.
Good story, but why did the girl loose her sanity that quick? To my knowledge, she was never stated at the beginning to be superstitious, and they had only been down in that cave for a certain amount of hours. Granted the creatures are creepy and they lost a colleague , but why did her will shatter relatively quickly?

Madame Raven This is the first time Lovecraft slipped my mind. In this story and Far Below, I never thought about any "cosmic horror" involving the creatures in them; I figured they were just flesh and blood like us.
William Norton as was the case this story. A man become lost from his group and his torch dies, he hears inhuman like footsteps following him, the creature is discovered in the end to be an extremely pale old man who was lost many years before. Not too eldritch and cosmic, but a parallel to this story. :)
Did anyone else find this really fucking similar to the decent movies about the cave divers who get lost and stuck with humanoid blind pail creatures that move and seem similar to this

I would love to see these kinds of crab-walking, malformed humanoid cave-dwelling creatures in a full-fledged multi-million-dollar horror movie, with major attention to detail to the grotesque manner and evolution of the creatures nature and being, in the style of “Alien” rather than “The Descent”.
