I got a 2000 Eclipse and I love it lol, it's my dream car but man it's a stressful situation. After recently buying it I had to replace brake lines I had to adjust the rpms because every time I came to as stop the car would shut off. So I did that now I need a new battery and I'm also getting locked outa my car can someone lmk if I have like a short somewhere or if it's just because I need a battery or what. I'm not the most mechanically inclined so any tips will help!
I know this is an old video, but my bud was holding his door with a wrench and a police baton to sneak his way to unclip the entire door off. Dumb, yes. Did it get the job done? Yes. How he did it i dont know lmao
yup, definitely following this as a walk through soon. did u record doing the kickers by chance? I'm assuming it's as simple as the front just harder to get to and probably more unscrewing
I watched another tutorial on how to like remove the panel from the back. It seems quite self-explanatory and if the wiring is similar I'm sure it'll be easy. I have never done this stuff before but I've done a LOT of stuff to change to look of my car so I'm pretty sure I can figure this out too. My back passenger speaker has been blown since I got the car. Thought it was just something bouncing in there lol nope. Blown speaker. :(
+Ian Gabrielle i did the wiring myself by running new speaker wires because the dealership i bought the car from really messed up all the wires and it was a fire hazard i can do a video on how to do it if you would like but you can find wiring diagrams and guides on what wire runs to which source both power and sound. if you want let me know ill show you what behind my kenwood looks like. hope this helped :)
Mugsy's Garage ok that would be great I have had many problems trying to get my pioneer in with my wiring harness, so I bought a new harness bcs my old one would make the sound all wierd when it's playing back a song or whatever so that would be great thank you.
I have the same car and I’m trying to install a jvc radio but I think I need adapters but I do not know where to get them at or how to wire it if you can can you send me a link on where to get the harness

Great video, I just replaced my original infinity speakers with a JBL Club 6520 in the front door - with the original amplifier - and it sounds awful :( No trebble is coming throuhg, if I detach the factory tweeters it is terrible. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks
I have the same speakers as you. The only thing is that I don't hear no vocals out of my speakers, just the ones at the top of the door. I broke one of my factory tweeters and it's really bothering me.
I found the problem, I think. My aftermarket radio has a setting 2-way or 3-way. I believe my speakers in the back are 3 way, while my front are 2 way. If I set 2 way mode, the front work, but the back stop, and vice versa. So, I need to buy some 3 ways for my front or a different radio. xD
Hey got a aftermarket question for you since we got the same car. My driver side tail light blinks fast meanwhile my bulbs aren't out but the taillight is aftermarket. Could it be a relay that's out or a fuse?
Mugsy's Garage You have any projects in mind for your's? Mine is to dip mine white and put red race stripes on it like how BMW does their's, and make it look like a race car. She's already lowered has the aftermarket suspension to it and wheels now it needs the paint.
its up to you they will both fit as i show in the video the rear speakers is where your gunna get the bass if thats what you are looking for theese are kinda like giant tweeters
+Aaron Mugnolo which do you recommend? And for bass i already have a 12 inch kicker with alpine amp and I'm looking to upgrade speakers because my bass hits too hard and i cant really here the lyrics even though my bass is -2 and the treble is +2 in the EQ
+Victor Estrada i recommend the stock size 6x3/4 as it fits without modification. as for your bass issue the sub gain should help also the lp filter hit up my buddy nick at th-cam.com/users/microtandme he can help in areas i cant

Knoeble yes the body styles should support the same speakers and i used.kenwood speakers and a kicker sub

I can only hear the speakers from the drivers side and the one behind it

I have heard that certain led tails can cause less resistance thus would explain your fast blinking bulbs
