    This video series is so nice to see, what a powerful way to gain experience. What struck me about the Hantek waveform on the VW Jetta at 6:53 was the way current went negative after the injector was turned off. Not sure why, maybe artefact, bad scope ground, non zeroed inductive amp meter? When applied voltage on an inductor suddenly drops to zero, the inductor produces its own voltage to try and maintain current in the same direction. Here, current is in the wrong direction for it to be caused by a reactive inductor spike. Regarding the shorted injector at 37:30, perhaps it is shorted between coils, as a consequence of corrosion that increases total resistance. So, inductance goes down, causing the rapid rise, but resistance goes up, limiting maximum current flow. Thank you Val and Chad!

    I wanted you to discuss the one in the thumbnail of the video.... probably a Nissan.

      The one in the thumbnail is indeed a Nissan 3.0 pickup. I don’t have a video on that one but I have one from an infinity but we didn’t dive too deep in the waveform information other than the two failures visible.
      Let me know if you have any questions on the Nissan pattens since they look stranger compared to most injector patterns.
      I’ll look into the issue finding the FB group as a bunch of stuff was recently updated and I may have selected an incorrect setting.
