Hey everyone :) As a lot of you are aware, the 'Taking You Higher' series has been a big part of this channel for the past 3 years. The feelings I want to convey with these mixes are of euphoria and elation. It's about letting go of all your worries, following your dreams and truly taking you to a higher place. This is the first mix in the series that I have decided to release as a compilation. Mr Suicide deserves so much more credit than he gets not only because of the dedication but because of all the lives he has been able to touch and better with his mixes.
I remember coming across taking you higher part 2 in 2012 when I was in a very dark place after losing my dad and brother and I drove from Toronto to Florida with his mix on repeat. Thanks Mr Suicide and here’s to more amazing mixes!

mr suicide sheep. it's me again! i in the meantime of your last taking you higher mix, i have listened to over 40-50+ 1-2hour long mixes of trance and house on youtube. nothing, and i mean nothing, matches your mixes. your taste and mine exactly coincide. please do not ever stop making this series, it makes my youtube playlist go from a 5 to a 10 when i hear one of your mixes ... i like ALL of the songs. ALL of them. i dont have 1 single thing to bitch about, and i'm a person that knitpicks songs apart and hates 90% of the music i hear.

zegrated its pretty good but it just has a few songs from the old ones so that's why it steals some light, imo. but to each his own. the other 2 were creative masterpieces

Taking You Higher was the reason I discovered progressive house. Recently it has become my favourite genre over all others.I can hardly wait for the next part of these amazing mixes. Gregory Esayan, Roald Velden, Lessov and James Woods are my personal favourites, but I would have never found them without this channel :).

+LuNi.Fi check out the channel "Best In Progressive". thats your dream come true. guy puts a lot of mixes. a lot of hidden gems! youre going to discover a lot of new artists. he puts titles, times, the record label the song and artist comes from, a link to purchase each individual song (which is actually really cool because some artists are so unknown youtube searches dont even show any uploads!), a link to download the mix in its entirety, and even a link to all the photos. thats a quality channel.

This is by far my favorite Taking You Higher mix! I've had some of the most amazing vibes listening to this.
The build up in the first hour is probably my favorite hour of music from anywhere.

One thing that put me off slightly, was your inclusion of Soulforge - Dreamfast.. which has been played in one of your mixes before. Either infinite elation or taking you higher. Either way man, amazing. You deserve more recognition, and i'll be doing my part passing this on to friends. Cheers!

Back when this came out around 2015 I always pictured the intro with my older brother. He was a paramedic/emt and i'd hop on his PS4 while he was out saving lives, the radio just constantly going off with voices as he drives through the night. This house mix will always bring back nostalgic memories, thank you.
