But if that happened, they generally got over ran depending on the amount of men left behind. So I am a woman and I served in the Army from 2007-2013 I pick the most combative job a women can hold in the army. I was a combat MP. I was also the gunner for my squad. a 249 saw witch is heavier than the M16. But women are built different and we can’t do the exact same physical thing as men but we can still give it our all. I met some people in my unit that sad I wouldn’t be there gunner because I was female. But that didn’t change that I was a good shot.😉 To be fare a lot of women would not enlist and or take a high combative job. But even in the service we get flax for being women. I love your prospective. I don’t think women are oppressed but they don’t like to do dirty jobs. These women make some good women look bad. SMH. When I was training to join the army we had a few girls spread between the platoons. Mixed intakes. They had lower standards to reach, and still most failed. One girl in my platoon literally closed her eyes every time she fired a rifle, never saw her hit 1 target. She still made it through because the staff had a quota to hit. Does that make my unit stronger? On a fairly easy weighted march, 10 miles in full gear, I carried her bergen and rifle for about 6 miles just so she could keep up. Sure, it made me stronger individually, but the unit was weaker overall. Is that what we want as a military in general? Inclusive to the point of weakness? When I went into trade training we were told that only 1 female had passed the training in the entire history of the regiment. Shortly after passing she transferred to the medic regiment because she couldn't keep up with the sheer weights we worked with on the daily. For me to be comfortable with fighting alongside women, I need to know that they are up to the same standard as the men I'm fighting with. If a passing grade for a test is 95%, why should I be happy if that percentage is lower for others? Is that fair? So the solution that's brought in is to lower the passing grade to 85%. Again, does that make the unit stronger or weaker, overall? We all know the answer but can't outwardly express it without women jumping down our throats, saying that they're strong and they can do anything we can. If that's so, why was the standard lowered to accommodate women who still failed to reach it? Reach the same standard as me and my brothers, and we'll welcome you as an equal. Until then...

Fuck no a woman wasn’t allowed in combat arms when I was in the military 2006 it was hard to be in combat arms because basic training and MOS training was one whole thing. I did temp work at a big company, engineers everywhere. They had a few female employees, only one was young. She was harassed daily, lucky she has a strong personality and kept grinding. Fuck no a woman wasn’t allowed in combat arms when I was in the military 2006 it was hard to be in combat arms because basic training and MOS training was one whole thing. I couldn’t imagine being lock in a Hot ass tank with a woman when nobody has taken a shower for 2 weeks. Plus all nighters and combat drills plus having to depend on a woman to carry a 70 pound tank wheel or fixing and changing a whole track.

I’m kinda burnt out on all the “what about” and “what if” arguments. At the end of the day I think the best person should get the job and everyone should be able to try out for it. I did temp work at a big company, engineers everywhere. They had a few female employees, only one was young. She was harassed daily, lucky she has a strong personality and kept grinding. Still, we need to ban together as women to enter these 'dirty' jobs/careers. Some women don't go into it because the study and employment paths are dominated by men, it doesn't feel very safe. I wonder if there would be more female soldiers too, if they managed to decrease the chances of getting raped by a fellow soldier.

I understand that men do all of the physical heavy work in all occupations. But where are they going with this argument? Are they saying women are worthless in all fields? Like they can't shoot or drive a tank? Yeah, in physical combat she will loose but soldiers have weapons and women can shoot just as well as men. Yeah as a construction worker men can carry more wood but a woman can swing a hammer too. I mean what does Kevin want? All women to step down from jobs he thinks are only men jobs?
