Even with over 50 years of experience he listens to a newbie director the way he listens to any veteran director.

Dilip Kumar was the biggest star of his times and considered as inspiration by Amitabh, Shah Rukh and many other stars. The scene is exact copy and hence considered as a tribute. There are many other movies too. Suhag with Parveen Babi where he is trying to console her, Chupke Chupke many scenes (Dharmendar matches him ably), Sholay where he is trying to sabotage his friend Dharmendars marriage to Hema malini..etc. Another set would be his dramatic scenes..the ones with Dilip Kumar ( another legend) are just too good in the film “Shakti”, and with Rekha in “Do Anjaane” are exceptional including an “emotional” hurt drunk scene in the movie is superlative.

He did a series of movies, both as heroes and anti-heroes, like Deewar, Trishul, Don, Kala Patthar, Kalia, Agnipath which kept adding to his image as an angry, rebellious protagonist. Indeed a blessing to have seen this absolute gentleman in his heydays!! Comedy, drama, action, character roles, support roles... He's a pleasure to watch. Love him to eternity and back! ❤️

Big B is such a great performer. These scenes remind me a lot of Mohanlal in malayalam movies in the 80's too. He had very similar comic timing.

He did a series of movies, both as heroes and anti-heroes, like Deewar, Trishul, Don, Kala Patthar, Kalia, Agnipath which kept adding to his image as an angry, rebellious protagonist.
Indeed a blessing to have seen this absolute gentleman in his heydays!! Comedy, drama, action, character roles, support roles... He's a pleasure to watch. Love him to eternity and back! ❤️
