Two questions. Does this unit have a built in antenna? Mine doesn’t pick up local fm stations. Also when I turn the unit on and turn the dial it skips over Bluetooth what do I do to connect Bluetooth?

It would work as two separate units. If you have a good mechanic there is a way to set the roof to input mode and have it hooked to the output on the receiver on your dash

What does it sound like when you are driving in the machine? I purchased the Stage 4 kit, which sounds amazing when the vehicle isn’t running, but when you start driving it, you pretty much have to max it out to hear it.
Obviously when driving you have to turn it up but right now even with my “very loud” setting on my captains choice EVO exhaust, it can still be heard easily. This roof does have the capability of being VERY loud. Even with it running at idle, you cannot hardly turn it up past 1/2 way on the volume bc it gets uncomfortably loud.
Rustbelt Mechanic thanks for the reply. I just wanted to know. I have been trying many things to reduce cab noise, for both my music and conversations with my passengers.
That was one of the best things I ever did for Ohio driving at least. If you plan on driving on chilly mornings or evenings it makes MASSIVE difference in driving comfort.

Have you added an antenna for the FM/AM? Mine does not have a built in antenna like another video said, and I verified that with RF; they do not include an antenna, they supply the head unit and speakers to CanAm, CanAm assembles it.

I just ordered the 6-8” rooftop. Do you think it needs the additional sub and amp? I’m a little nervous of getting it installed and being disappointed. I like a little “bump” with my tunes. Does the roof have any bump at all? Also, what brand were the screwdriver set again?

I like the roof, but my goodness all the freaking color lights lol. This is the cheap way everyone including high school kids personalize their cars. There is zero creativity any more. I need color lights in my fenders and everywhere else to show off my dirt.

wulfie96 I get that... oh and FYI, the exhaust sounds great but definitely does not cut down on cab noise lol..... but that exhaust note🤤

Is the volume up on your phone? Bc this item is SUPER loud when turned up even half way!

No I have not added one, I mostly just run my Bluetooth.
