I was actually the same as you and took the x antibody package out of my beelzemon deck, but with ex6 beelzemon you can play him off baalmon, tuck the x-antibody underneath and swing with rush and then evo into beelzemon x and trash and swing so I added it back in.
@@MrJsStrategyPlays to some point i understand flickering cards in mtg or todays ygo. But in Digimon? Zero reason. Imagine Pokerplayer starts flickering too...
Would love to see the beelzemon list, my list im still running st baalmons and the old, i think your right its a mistake to cut the starter deck baals its just too good to cut out in my opinion. Loving the new beelzemon, hopping maybe they'll unrestrict the impmon since the format is so fast i think impmon can come back and not effect the format to much. I think im also running mist memory boosts over purple boosts i like the mill two draw 1 plus the 2 memory
I don’t know if it’s just me, but what Beelzemon as a deck is missing is an Ace card in this format, due to it can be shut down if your opponent is either playing the right cards or a deck that hard punishes
@@MrJsStrategyPlays or even a Baalmon Ace honestly, like something to help the deck really flow, I played against it with my Tribal Rapidmon deck and they couldn’t even play
You got a decklist we can see for ex 6 beelze? I've been wanting to play him for awhile, but havent had time to build anything, since i dont really have a local play group
I love beelze in my list I ran 2x of each beelze old ex one new ex one and starter deck one but you only need to see one of the new beelze and that’s fine when I saw 2 I’d be annoyed it’s not the old ex beelze so I’ll prolly change it to 3x old ex beelze 2x st beelze and 1x new ex beelze in addition to two beelze x also my lv 5 lineup is 4 at Baal and 2 Baal x even tho I’m not playing the x antibody options. In this deck I find the x evolving is super helpful because with ai mako and all the options sometimes it’s nice to be able to cycle by digivolving over same level. I run all on evo trash 3 Baal because while the other one floats it feels like it can set you back a bit in tempo when you don’t trash 3 on evo. Those are my thoughts with the deck!
I like your ratios. I would highly suggest running the 1 of x antibody. I wasn’t a believer until I put it in the deck! You won’t regret it. Plus you already run Baal X so it’ll be a smooth addition to the deck
@MrJsStrategyPlays they've both died out a bit at mine. My locals can be pretty sweaty, but ex6 has people being more creative. Nume kept me from going 4-0 in the final round Friday so I'm pretty biased against that deck 😅
I think you had a lot of hottakes in this video. 1) you mentioned it has a hard time applying preassure. I HARD disagree with that. With the rush alone you can get that extra check in which helps with the aggression. You threw game 2 because you didn't swing with the rush beelze and went into beelze x instead. You shouldve attacked first then beelze x. Most importantly though, you did mentioned this, the dedigi 2. A good player will try their best to play around that. For example, any deck that runs aces that delete like valk. I believe good players will see that and be detterred from aceing, so your taking away one of their best defenses. 2) you took x anti out of the deck. I think theres more opportunities to use it now with the new rush beelze. But its fair what you said, player preference. 3) bt10 baalmon is really good. Dont entirely knock it. I promise you if you get a bt10 baalmon stack digivolved in raising and promote to swing for 2 turns, you will likely win on that second turn. Especially with a full x anti stack, you will get to your 20-30 cards in trash really fast. Test bt10 baal at 3 or 4, you might like it with the new beelze.
Game 2 I agree but I didn’t want to risk losing Rush Beelze in security. If I risked it though, I would’ve won. As for Baalmon, I just think being able to recur X anti is more important than swinging with the old LV5 Baal. I’ll still test out BT10 Baal, but I sorely missed ST Beelze and the x antibody in the deck
Can’t say I’m a big fan of his version of the ragna deck. Running the red egg especially seems much worse to me than the black egg. I also just think the otk version of the deck just isn’t fast enough in the current meta. Running more of the new stuff allows for better board control. Just my opinion though, obviously still early days for ex6 so there’s always more play testing to do
I think he was running the red egg because his build was OTK style. I mean it’s interesting that Ragna is versatile right now. But yeah we were just play testing this day lol
The analog youths are probably in there to let you skip the requirement for playing assembly without the corresponding color
Genius
I’ve seen people play digimon emperor but the Gennai and the Analogs were spicy

Yeah I regret taking x anti out of the deck. Now wondering if we should also keep Baal X in the deck?
@@MrJsStrategyPlays my lvl 5 line up is 4 of starter deck baalmon, 1 bt10 baalmon and 1 baalmon x antibody
Instead of that the Ragnaloardmon player flicker cards like crazy, He should read his cards instead and should know how to play
That’s what we get for playtesting… lol. Nah he’s good. Compared to people who shuffle their cards nonstop for 50 mins, this is okay lol
@@MrJsStrategyPlays to some point i understand flickering cards in mtg or todays ygo. But in Digimon? Zero reason. Imagine Pokerplayer starts flickering too...
18:12 Ragna had 7 sources, would have had 8 if he didn't hit Rival's barrage. you live for one more turn because of it
I did remember he said it would’ve been game if barrage wasn’t in security hmm lol
I was a hater at first for the ragna list but the more I saw the cards move I think he's cooking (it's defo not for me but credit where credit is due)
What’s up KnT! Yeah we were just playtesting this day but hey got the W, and the gennai caught me off guard

I would try out mist mem boost but I always brick :/ that’s why I run purple mem boost. I’m going to put my list on the discord in a bit

A LV6 Beelze Ace would be nice. The deck just seems inconsistent to me, probably from the high amount of options being run

breath of fresh air seeing these decks. I'm so tired of seeing magna and nume everywhere.
Surprisingly there’s no Nume players at locals, plenty of Magnamon X though. I’ll try to keep putting out other decks!

Why didn't u attack for game if his digimon was still in the breeding area ?
The gennai tamer would let his opponent digimon promote and potentially block/ace him
Yeah spider is correct, the gennai was too spicy

Ragna sucks if you run too much old stuff now, and the new black egg is far better than the red one.
I think he’s going for OTK so for him the red egg was better
