the 435i steering probably felt light because the settings weren't set to put the steering into sport/stiff mode . You can make the settings for sport/sport+ effect just the drivetrain, suspension dynamics (including steering), or both. If the steering was still light, that means the drivetrains settings were still in comfort mode and just the drivetrain was in sport.

1:20 I recently got a set of anthracite Apex VS-5RS for my F36, front: 18x9 +30 with 235/45, rear: 18x9.5 +35 with 265/40, and it really does improve how car takes corners and even potholes (coming from stock 19x8 w/ 225/40 and rear 19x8.5 w/ 255/35)

During this video I had lowering springs that were lower than my boys but they are quite similar 440 felt more smooth
I'm buying a 435 now AWD M Sport, I wanted a manual and can only get it in 435, Basically no Manual 440 AWD is Available in the USA,
