It was very kind of you to clean this place for the old man during your very busy December! Technically, I suppose I am "old" but I'm not dirty like that! Maybe he can't see well or something. Those cords must have driven you crazy! I would have squirted some Cif/Jif on that floor and poured a bit of warm or hot water on it, then let it sit for a while to soften all that gunge. It makes it much easier to scrub or scrape off. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying your new home! Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!
