- Aquarium FISH SAVED From ABANDONED POND! is a FUN video where we check up on the abandoned ponds and see whether or not there are any aquarium fish left after this long drought! The water temperature was really warm and the water line has receded super far so hopefully all the exotic fish like the cichlids, mollies, platies and the catfish are all safe! If not we will do our best to catch them with our nets, fish traps and more!

That giant cory is actually called a brochis they’re super expensive here in Australia, the one you caught would cost close to $300 here and they’re not that happy unless they’re in schools of at least 6

Remember the tip I offered (besides hip waders), get some tubing, probably 3/4", from Home Depot or Lowes. Split it and put it over the front edge to protect the net.

Omg you are so lucky to be able to catch dojo loaches and the albino ones I have 1 albino and 4 wild colour ones my biggest one is 9inches long they are funny together and they learn to Hand feed and interact with you loving the guns on you rob bobby keep up the good work ❤
Can you and Bobby both please go and get yourselves a pair of wadders. If you don't know what they are or if they are not called that in the US, then there are like wellies that come up your chest. Would definitely stop the bug bites and saves your trainers, and the best bit you can get deeper in the ponds/lakes, which is what we all want to see :-D another idea would be to attach a go pro to either a rod and bait ball to or attach it to a big trap and see not only what you catch but also what else lives inside the places your hunting... love from the UK once again

I suggest putting a pool noodle cut to fit inside your smaller fish trap. Float it in that open water.
Dojo loach facts: They get 6-8in, but if you get lucky they can get 12in, another fact is they can breathe air and jump out of the water if scared

Hey here's a idea maybe next time you get a net maybe try a pool net with pole there poles extend and the nets designed to collect loads of stuff out of pools so it may hold up better and can go deeper and reach further

Very cool haul today. You need to go back for your new net. You should also get a smaller aquarium net for moving the micro fish.
Name the loaches after different kinds of noodles: ramen, egg , rice, farfalle, macaroni, shirataki, etc.

Man, I MISS my dojo loach. Ghosty was 1 of my favorite fish. He was so playful and full of personailty....He died at like 9ish years (that I had him. He was about 3ish inches when I got him so no idea how old he was) and about 5.5-6 inches long so he had a pretty good life
