Loved the story Johnny! They're right, it is about freedom. Best shine I ever had came from a still a bit west of Knoxville. I got it for a Christmas present from my bandmate every year as his folks still lived in Knoxville.

My dad was a moon shine runner when he got out of the Korean war, he ran moonshine back in the1950s in Wayne County Kentucky into Tennessee. He had PTSD from the Korean war and my mom had to make a decision to stay with him or leave him, mom had her brother in law and her sister to bring us to Pulaski County Kentucky in1963. The Korean war caused him to drink a lot of beer until1996 when he died from a mixture of things like the war and drinking. I never got to know my dad but just a little. But one thing is he knew how to run the moonshine.😃
