Monster High Doll Makeover - Medusa Edition

- Another Doll Makeover, but this time it’s a Monster High doll makeover. I gave it an intense face up and repaint during my doll customization process. I’ll basically just be DIY Fixing your Doll in this video. I took a basic monster high doll and gave it a custom makeover, made it a whole lot more EVIL. I had a lot of fun making this custom monster high doll repaint, I’ll definitely be doing more doll repaints with other kinds of dolls in the future! If you’re looking for some fun painting projects or maybe some painting crafts for adults I think this will be perfect for you to try out! It’s an easy doll customization building off of a monster high doll as a base. I’ve done a couple doll makeover videos (check out my playlist or links down below).

About that doll
Operetta is a 2010-introduced and all-around character. As the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera, she is a France-born but Gnarleston-raised phantom and these days a student at Monster High.

@@AJ_the_great1223 Well, none of the monster high characters are canonical in their parents' story, so there's not really a point in getting upset by it because you would have to be upset by the whole franchise.
The doll is Operetta who is the daughter of the phantom of the opera. The filigree is her version of her "fathers" scarring
I pretty sure that this is Skultate Roller Maze Operetta based one the hair color and the outfit.

Or is she a tragic character? She gets tuned into a gorgon by Athena because she is a beautiful maiden seduced by Poseidon in a temple of Athena. So maybe she’s not a villain 🤔🤔🤔
@@TheActor949 depends on the version your talking about. The original version she was just a gorgon, just an antagonistic monster. But one writer guy (I forget who) came in and said “screw that. The gods suck” and rewrote Medusa to be the version you’re talking about.
I prefer the newer version, but it’s not the original or only version of her story

I love to do these! That looks like an Operetta doll, phantom of the operas kid. I have a huge stock box full of these dolls and there arms and shoes. Let me know if you need more. Use a flat head screwdriver and scrape the inside of the head to remove the hair and then grab the clumps with pliers. You rocked it for trying it for the first time!!!

Your makeovers are more like realistic tutorials, I love it!
The finished piece actually turned out to be really fun to look at. THOUGH, I gotta say, my height of entertainment was just seeing the weird way you had Operetta move in the beginning there. At one moment it looked like she was moving around the same way Red Guy used to in 'Cow and Chicken', butt bouncing her way around your table.

Zomg I thought of that devil guy from Cow and Chicken too I miss that show.
It’s easier to remove the old hair if you use a flat head screwdriver (or similar tool) and scape it along each row of hair plugs, it pulls the hair and glue out in one motion and then you can pull out the detached hair out the neck hole in large clumps. Just a small tip that helps it go faster. Great job btw!😄
Dude, you’ve killed it with the clothes in your last 2 doll makeovers. The flow of that skirt is amazing! Also give that cute snake a boop for me ^.^

Love it! I hope to see more monster high customizations. I discovered that surgical forceps work wonders for getting the hair out but also scraping the plugs before pulling them out also significantly helps the process.
