You saw it today fagbenle was actually the reason it was close NOT boston. Because she's a great transition big that actually cuts very well and is fast. Boston is simply big and slow. Unless she gets it deep in the post she's essentially useless.

Yeah I've noticed when she puts in the effort that her defense is okay. But I agree with what others have said, she's mostly disengaged and it's awful. Constantly creating disadvantage situations for herself and her teammates and giving up easy buckets. I would be frustrated playing with a teammate that created so many bad defensive situations for the rest to cleanup
Based on these highlights, I think Fagbenle should start.
Already my second favourite player on the team based on effort alone! Her hustle is amazing! Hundred percent she needs to be starting and motivate everyone to play with that kind of energy. She also is the only one I’ve seen able to rim run to keep up with Caitlin’s transition offence. Was awesome to see her getting some buckets in stride, the way Stuelke did in Iowa. Hope they play her more this coming week she proved she deserves it!
I agree she is like an older Stuelke, someone Clark is familiar with. Boston play style does not match the type of playstyle they want to use.
I was thinking the same thing. She also missed a couple of baskets and went str8 for the offensive board. She needs to start for sure.

Clark deserves the criticism. Too many turnovers and a huge liability on defence. If you watch her on defence she looks lost and just stands around spectating
Every team Indiana plays is playing harder than they’ve ever played in their lives to try and show Clark up. What they don’t realize, is they’re inadvertently going to fuck around and make this fever team good. If they get use to playing this hard all the time the other teams aren’t going to be able to get up game after game after game. Getting up for one game every couple months is one thing, but to play this hard every night, hang on Indiana… it’ll pay off!!
My first time watching women basketball highlights on yt😅
The first game the Fever played the Suns this year, they got beat all the way round. Wasn't the best game for sure. This game however, you can tell the Fever are finding their groove. Almost won the game, good coordination and teamwork. Fever might be 0-4, but lots to be happy and optimistic about.
I think Clark is playing well so far, just give her some time to adapt to the pro leagues. She was just playing college basketball literally a month ago.

skipping the end of the game because there was a moving screen that was called a defensive foul on the floor against the fever. it got reviewed and the refs still fucked the call up! it was unbelievable and now they are hiding it from the official highlights lol

game, let her attempt that perimeter shot of drive in to draw a foul at least and burn the clock. Failed coaching. Get rid of her. She will be gone before season

It’s so dumb they have CC bringing ball up, Mitchel is clearly that person that needs to control offense and they need to have CC come off screens and team setup back door screens. CC at top of key is sooo bad for their offense because it’s stagnant. Whenever CC goes to bench Mitchel shines and team rallies but CC comes back and everyone is ball watching. Put CC on sg and make her come off screens but Mitchell is fast and needs to be at the top of the key.

She played a very good game all around. Her long 3's made ir a game and she gave them a chance to win it. Her team still stinks is the real problem. Her & the other guard are starting to click but the front court needs to step up. This was a winnable game.

@@zealazax6287 - Clark had 5 turnovers; Boston had 6. Indiana committed twice as many fouls (24) as CT (13) The excessive fouls put Indiana over the limit and gave free throws to CT. Clark had 5 personal fouls and 1 Technical Foul; Boston had 4 personal fouls.

The Connecticut Sun are gonna be a problem. Most people really like the Aces to repeat but the Sun can beat you a lot of different ways and are just a tough team mentality and physically which to me gives them a great shot to win in the postseason

We're witnessing each new game the Fevers getting better and better. Improving so much that it was just tge roll that determined who got the last shots. Each game the Fevers are displaying a incredible heart and willingness to kearn from their last game. If tgey kerp improving in such rapid succession, i think they will be close yo the playoffs if nit in thr playoffs this season. Good game. I agree with the not getting rebound comment. Also when CC is on the bench the fever pace on the floor slows down. I would like to find out from teammates if they notice they are getting less free throws and other fouls called. I see the other team getting ticky tac fouls called on fever and watch aggressive calls not get called against fever team. It does make you wonder if things like the possible kick ball if CC stays around or goes somewhere else. I have been watching the games and I think that it is not that she is not big enough or fast enough. I don't even think it is the pace of the game. I think she is a unique player to the WNBA. I think she does need to figure out the defense but she is afraid because of the fouls. This is not college that she was in last month this is the pros and she does not have to play every minute anymore like she did in college. That is going to take adjustment on her part.
They lost every game to teams that have chemistry and have been together for a while this team played together for 3 weeks. Wait till they are have way through the season they will be alright Boston getting better but wide open lays is crazy CC need to shovel protein in can't play against giants and not play defense. They need a week of team practice and work some shit out Boston needs to do sprints and lay ups for 5 hours a day to figure it out. This game was actually good to watch besides the refs that the suns had in there pocket

Boston has to be the most uncoordinated player on the team. She can't even make a layup and gets the ball stripped from her. No awareness on the court at all. She needs double the practice or placed as a backup.

I enjoyed the game and held my breath when CC went to the locker room. Before our eyes we're watching a team learn and get progressivly better each game they plwy. We're seeing a team becoming a top notch team with a top notch player in their midst game by game. Folks i think the Fevers are going to be close or in the playoffs this season.

If they somehow get the number 1 pick next year sheesh Paige and Clark gonna be so nice and if they can somehow snag van lith in the second round it’s over basically if they get Paige they can do what liberty is doing and have Clark at the shooting guard position
bro if they get paige this team will be a dynasty within the next 5 seasons. Paige and clark would play so well together, both are incredibly high iq players and would gel. I think personally they should also consider trading boston for angel reese. In my opinion clark is very lethal when she plays with a transition big man like stuelke. Boston is a half court, slow big.
paige is a great player but not the best fit. she can work off ball but you are denying one of their strengths. as far as i can see the fever need size and defense.
