So I'm an all time watcher of this channel, when the crowded barrel one came online I switched. But for sure im now switching again, because I love the format. and I guess Rex is also loving It because they are on a story telling mission too 🤭 good for you Daniel
But I really do miss the glazed look and Rex's eyes when Daniel went into storytelling mode.
It's not an either/or world. We can have a both/and.
Really impressed by this Bourbon and shows the marketing tale can be done right! Nice shout out to the brilliant No Nonsense Whisky too! Cheers.
Fun story. Crazy with all those areas effected by one race. Thanks for sharing. Another fun video
Gotta say I’m digging the mister rogers vibes in the intro
Amazing to see Google doing its job and suggesting my video to you! Cheers for the mention
I think Wilderness Trail was the contract distiller for this one.
Beat me to it. :)
I know it is. Can’t say how.
I would agree, being in Lawrenceburg, KY I started googling lol, there is a new one in Lancaster called Staghorn but it just officially opened in January and the county it was in was "dry" until Nov 2023. So I ruled that one out even though the one news article I found said they had 17000 independent barrels resting.
Thanks for the review 🥃
I believe the concept is that by shipping whole casks to the White Peak distillery in England for them to bottle results in having the freshest ex-bourbon casks for their Wire Works whisky.
Would you have finished it, if you hadn't added water twice? That's the question.

I might have to track down a bottle of this specifically so I can have a chance to pass on a story that awesome while pouring it for friends.
Nobody beats the Wiz
I'm the wiz I'm the wiz
Fun story
The opening and closing wizard music give me Mr. Dressup vibes
The phrase 'never say die' is originally from a 19th century poem based on Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. It was quoted by Dr. Bashir in an episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine “Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges.” That Latin phrase is from Cicero and it means “In Times of War the Law Falls Silent”. Of course none of this has anything to do with whiskey.
Black Sabbath had an album and a song by that name - it was the last album Ozzy Osborne was on before the band fired him. 🙂
Welcome to Mr. Whittington's Hidden Drams Neighbor!
Having fun in the North East today talking to people about the earthquake that happened in NJ.
Ironic to pick a bourbon with that name after the earthquake that just hit.
@@numanuma20, my thoughts exactly (even though this was recorded well in advance of the quake)
My grandfather had a sick dairy cow and the vet said to give it a quart of whiskey... Being it was during the Depression and with prohibition to boot, it was hard to find and expensive for a poor dairy farmer. But grandpa got hold of a bottle and administered the medicine. A while later my grandpa ran into the vet and he asked how the cow was, my grandpa replied that it died. The vet responded that he thought it would, my grandpa got angry and said that would have been good to know before he wasted good whiskey on a dying cow!
🙌🏻😁
Gimmicky/markety.... Yes. Maybe I'd try a pour at a bar if there's limited options, but not a bottle I'd seek out for home.
Never Say Die is the Spirt of VMI...
The whiskey industry is so weird. You have too many American whiskey brands getting away with buying barrels of distilled whiskey, some finished to make it “unique”, not apposed to finished whiskey, blended types of different whiskey like Keepers Heart and stuff like this.
It’s actually great for the consumer because it allows more small-time brands to pop up…..buying distillate lets them make money until they can release their own distillate….without that ability, we would not see nearly as many new brands
Short one this morning. Well Jefferson's ships their barrels to themselves, so there's that.
"Bourbon-flavored bourbon"
123👍
im gonna guess this is meant for english people that want bourbon. i would guess shipping the barrels would be cheaper than shipping bottles
