Speaking from the perspective as a Malaysian who migrated here in Australia, I would not advise anyone to come over to Ausrtralia especially Sydney for holidays time being. Australia is currently going through a bad crisis in inflation of price. All the accomodations and food are insane in price. And also do not take taxi here especially here in Sydney. Taxi drivers here always more expensive by a lot compare to Uber. The taxi drivers here always overcharged the tourist from the airport. You have been ripped off by the taxi drivers from the airport. Do not mention that you are a tourist visiting Sydney. The taxi driver have at least overcharged you double the price compare if you just take Uber. The one that spoiled the image of Sydney here are the migrants from third world countries that overcharged the tourist. Just do a lot of research of prices before spending. Although you got the Free Air Tickets but you overspent too much by the people here in Sydney. They simply ripped you off.

Inflation in Australia is really insane! Everywhere everything is so crazy. Was told that when Taylor Swift was in town, prices shot through the roof!
It’s ok for the taxi driver to overcharge for me to make this video. I don’t mind to be scammed so others watching this don’t have to and can avoid when they are in Sydney.

You guys can enjoy seafood in any of the Chinese restaurants in Sydney western suburbs, haft of the price compare to fish market , and the flavour taste much better .

As a Malaysian who is residing in Melbourne, I must say you overpay for your taxi and food. I’ve been to Sydney numerous times but the prices you pay is way too much.
    My 2 cents.
    1. Uber is better than taxi.
    2. In Australia , it’s better to opt for a la carte instead of going for a set of 4 or 5. You will find more value in it.
    3. Chinatown/Sussex street caters more for oversea Chinese touristy.
You can get better value of Chinese food in Chinese establishment suburb example chatswood.
    4. Don’t stay in hotel unless you got crazy deals from credit card or promo. Take a loot in those apartments like Meriton. You probably will get better value from it. They are awesome and always my choice. You can also explore the option to stay in other suburbs that are close tho the metro(train).
Anyway thanks for your videos. Great job editing!

I would have taken the train instead and it is cheaper than taxi.

Thank you . I never knew about Mexico having been the second largest fish market. . Ohh I love walking around in fish markets . When I'm in Malaysia I always go to selayang . Looks like you had a good time but I must say the hotel accommodation is very expensive . Great video 🎉

The second largest fish market is the La Nueva Viga market in Mexico. Being the largest in the country, the market is located far from the coast. The old traditional market was unable to meet the growing demand for seafood in the mid-1990s. This is how the La Nueva Viga market was founded. Today it has become one of the most significant markets in Latin America. The market is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 2:30 to 6:XNUMX. This is the best place to catch same day fresh seafood if you get there early in the morning.

Yes that’s the other option.. but we didn’t want to bother with it since we only going on the train only few times. Thanks 🙏

You been ripped off by the taxi driver. It should only cost less than $50 from airport to city.

I think the fare was fair cos they booked a larger car . To fit 4 of them plus all the luggages they’ll need 2 regular cars which is about the same

Yeah, that’s what we figured… we rather have one big car rather than 2 smaller cars.

    Should get Uber

  • @kienjennan8251

Usually people would rent a car. About $50 per day. That's why there isn't any queue at Taxi stand. Also you won't see taxi in the street too.
I been to Australia about 5 times. Never taken a taxi because car is cheap in Australia. The driving is not much different from Asia country.

I hope the tourist board and taxi company is watching this as it gives them a bad name when they charge $100 for a 20 minute ride … should only be $55 … should make a complain to the taxi company ….
