@@Son-Of-David1990 I was also 2 in 1992, I saw them for the first time in NYC when I was 6. It has a profound impact on me beace 7 years later I started taking drum lessons and became a drummer.
I always loved The Blue Man Group since I first saw them on T.V. in the early 90s. I didn't realize they formed in 1987 however I'm happy to see Jay Leno gave them mainstream exposure on his show.
Much more primitive versions of what would become the acts they do now albeit more or less the same structure. So cool watching how they started and how they would develop.
We had visitors from Germany two years ago: Mom and Dad are fluent English Speakers, but their young kids speak almost none. They wanted to see a show in New York City, so we chose Blue Man Group. -The little kids speak no English, but that's OK because the Blue Men don't either!
i like how they STILL do these bits 25 years later.
unfortunately now on some part like the oxytocyn meter and shake your euphrism they removed them
Imagine it being 1992, and you've never seen anything even a tiny bit like this before.
Would probably have seen similar acts such as mummenschanz and others, although it would still indeed be a shock
I was 2 in 1992. I remember seeing them for the first time at 4 years old in 94. It left a wild imprint of wonder in my mindlol

I remember seeing this when it aired. I thought they were unique and creative!
I did not know the blue man group was a thing in the 90s
Really!!! They were the main influence for "im blue if i was green i would die" song lol
First night of Leno's second week after taking over _The Tonight Show_ from Carson.
First time I ever even _heard_ of them!
Thanks for that Tonight Show lore

Wait!
-I was waiting for them to sit down and talk with Jay!
(-and why not? It turns out Teller can talk!)
Teller isn't a blue alien
Pepsico and quaker oats must be paying them alot for the captain crunch showing
how the actual fuck does he either fit that much gum down his throat, or create that structure with it on the way out of his mouth?
Homoerotic inuendo here
I don't like how they're still doing the same skits after so many years.
Ya gotta lil something all over your face
