I had a hard time with this Bible. It’s sitting on my shelf now. What i found was that i agreed with the commentary notes at the very beginning of each article or each sidebar note. By 9 times out of 10 i had a hard time with the final portion of each commentary. I prefer the Jesus Bible. BTW: the two have the same text block.
I really enjoyed this bible review and your honesty. I think I will purchase this bible. Seems like it will be very helpful..

I see it adds to scripture as does all modern bibles. Those two pages saying “New Testament “ and “Old Testament “ are man made traditions.
So are verse numbers and book titles.
