Man, I've got a thang for FCs. Love it!
Many medium duty trucks had hydro-vac brakes with a MC on the firewall operating a remote vacuum booster and slave cyl under the floor, by the driver's running board or saddle tank. Usually had a vent running into the cab whispering "whoosh" in the driver's ear.

Summit expedition trucks who built the rear tray of this thing is in a tiny town in northern canada (Newbrook population of about 100) where my parents are from super cool to see it here and small world :)
