Height is everything. Its much easier to just build a platform on something higher up then make a full on house with walls and everything. You can focus on stuff like that after you've already set up a safe place.
Tip: Don't put all your food, drinks and medkits in one place. Keep something in your inventory or elsewhere, so if it ever gets stolen by a player, not everything is gone.
Things for new players or players that want to try this game: Mainly, there are two cycles, day and night. The main objective is to build a base, survive, and avoid employees. During the daytime (which lasts 6 minutes), it is very important to not waste time and to build a base and find food (employees don’t hurt you during day unless it’s a Foggy Day). To find food, search for canteens or cafeterias and build a base near one. (they always restock on Monday and Friday, so don’t use up too much of them) Waypoints make it easier to locate your base or nearby food store. During the night, it’s important to survive and stay in your base, always keep watch of your energy and eat food to gain energy. You can use the night to eat your food and regain energy for the next day. If you spawn at night, stay low, run and defend yourself if an employee finds you. Make a small base out of the things around you and wait till day (you can lock yourself in a closet for a faster shelter during night) During the day, always focus on making your home base a safer place. Make the walls high or make sure there is a roof, make sure there are no spaces for employees to come in. TIPS ON HOME BASES: - I mainly like using tables and closets to make the walls of my base, but it’s still up to you. - Don’t rush and make your base look “fancy” during your first night, take it slow. Organize the days in which you choose to reinforce your base or search for food. - It’s better if your home base is high on a shelf, but it also has some disadvantages. But this way, an employee can’t reach you. - During night, stay alert. Even though you’re safe inside your base, you can’t guarantee 100% safety. (This is actually true, once, an employee broke into my base even though it was high on a shelf) - Always make sure there’s a waypoint pointing your base’s location and the location of your nearby canteen/cafeteria, they are very important for your survival so you don’t get lost. - You can even make a back-up base if your base gets attacked by griefers or if you don’t feel safe there anymore or if you get lost on your way home. Make sure there’s also a waypoint to the back-up base! (You can add up to 6 waypoints in a game). RUNNING FROM THE STAFF: - The Staff are kinda slow but during Blood Nights or Foggy Days, they turn into mega psychopaths. Use their speed to your advantage and run far away from their line of sight. - If they get too close, shove or push them away, this will give you enough time to run. (On PC, click on the employee to push them. On mobile, you’ll see a plus sign on the middle of your screen and it will turn red when faced to an employee, tap on the employee and it will shove them). You need to be close enough to push them, it will keep them at a distance and stun them for 3 seconds. - You can actually sneak behind them, but don’t get too close, they can still hear you. DURING A FOGGY DAY: - Foggy Days happen every 15-16 days. It lasts for 6 minutes :D - It’s basically daytime but night idk. It’s foggy and employees are REALLY aggressive during foggy days (heck they can even climb or jump higher during foggy days, however, they remain slow and you can’t shove them). So I recommend staying in your base. - If it’s day 14, use the time to stock up on food or make your walls higher and add a roof, because you’re gonna have one heck of a night and a day. DURING BLOOD NIGHTS: - Oh boy, this duration is like 5 minutes :D - Blood Nights happen every 10 days. In rare occasions, it can happen two times in a row or even on a night that’s not even 10. - PLEASE STAY IN YOUR FRIGGING BASE. - If you happen to spawn during a Blood Night, I wish you luck. - Employees are really aggressive during this time too, they are larger in numbers and are more stronger. - It’s really important to make your base stronger and your food stocked up a day before a blood night. Remember it happens every 10 days! THINGS TO NOT DO IN SCP 3008: - No griefing. Griefing means stealing furniture from another one’s base, making them vulnerable and having to build it up again. Focus on your own base >:CCC Please be decent and consider the hard work they put into making the base. - Don’t use too much of your food and medkits. Remember they only restock on Mondays and Fridays, so it’s very important to savor them. Only eat or heal yourself if your health or energy falls below 40. - Do not scavenge at night unless you know what to do. Scavenging at night is very dangerous but quite fun, though if you don’t know what to do or how to defend yourself, never scavenge at night. Chances are, you might die and spawn further from your base. - Don’t trust people easily, they might be there to steal furniture or food. - Don’t make your home base easy to get in to. For example, if your home base has an entrance that requires you to crouch, don’t leave that entrance open at night, employees can see through this and are small enough to pass through. - Don’t let any furniture allow an employee to have access to your base. Employees can actually do easy parkour, so it’s better to make obstacles that only you can pass through into your base. I actually let my home base have a second floor in which I exit from, before night, I make sure that any steps or furniture that allow employees to come in will be placed further away. - Don’t make your base too big. If it’s only one person for a base, refrain from making it too big unless you have a team. It’s harder taking care of a big base. - Don’t waste your time wandering. I made this mistake once. Never go too far from where you spawned. Once you spawn, start making your base immediately. Remember, you can’t waste any time. FINDING YOUR FRIENDS: - One very simple method is the whistling method, however this works if you are friends with the player on Roblox. You need to choose which of you has to whistle, mainly the person who has already secured a base has to whistle. Ask the person who will whistle to stay still on their location and whistle. Look around you and you will see a “!” mark with your friend’s name at the bottom of the mark, follow that mark (be attentive as it will disappear after a short period of time which is why it is crucial for the whistler to not move). If the mark disappears remember the direction it appeared and keep heading straight to that direction until you meet your friend. This method also has it’s disadvantages as when it’s night time, employees will be attracted to any noise, especially whistles. (On mobile there will be a small button with a head and a )) beside the head, click on that button to whistle. On PC, click H to whistle, but there’s a cooldown between whistles.) - The wall method. You and your friend have to agree to meet up at a wall, if by a lucky chance, you both would meet at the same wall. But if you don’t, keep moving along the walls until you find your friend, whistle if you have to. - The pillar method. Agree to meet up at a pillar, the little screen on the side of the pillar always faces north and when you spawn, you face north as well. This method only works by chance though, there’s also a chance you and your friend might not meet up at the same pillar. - The north method. Remember when I said, whenever the player spawns, they face north? You could use this with your friends, however I never tried this method. One friend has to stay still where they are, while another has to continue moving north until you find your friend. Another way is that both of you could move north until you both find a wall on the north side of the map. STUPID THINGS YOU MIGHT WANNA TRY: - Keeping an employee as a pet. - Following or staying alongside an employee until it turns to night. - Whistling A LOT during night. - Letting employees chase you around during a blood night. - Roaming around and running from employees during a foggy day. - On a journey to the roof or the floating house. - Falling from 150+ studs high in the air. - Not building a base and just roam through IKEA all night and day. THE FLOATING HOUSE: - The floating house is a plot and has a very rare chance of spawning in a server. The floating house is said to be very high on a pillar and houses the Sacred Chocolate (one of the rarest items in-game). - When you search for the floating house, notice the color of the floor underneath the pillars? A regular pillar would only have a black colored floor underneath it, but as for a pillar with the floating house, it has a grey colored floor underneath. So if you’re lucky enough to find a grey colored floor underneath a pillar, get ready and grab two furnitures because you are going for a risky trip to the floating house! Fun fact: my friend once found a pillar with a grey colored floor underneath (meaning there’s a floating house), however, we were still looking for eachother at the time, so we missed out on the opportunity to get to the house). APRIL FOOLS VERSION: - Hubert: Hubert is found in the April Fools Version, Hubert is tall, has one small sphere as a head, and a bigger sphere as a torso with two cylinders as his arms and legs, whenever he’s nearby, you’ll notice a red light surrounds him as he walks. Hubert is slightly faster than the player, and it will be very hard to outrun him, so PLEASE hide when it’s night. **Edit: I researched and thought further more about the north method, I don’t think it’s really advised because this is the infinite IKEA and it might take a long time to move to the wall or search for your friend by just going to the same direction**
if u spawn during night, i recommend finding a bunkbed spot, grabbing on sitting in one and locking yourself with the bunkbed u grabbed. Its easy, its quick, and it's safe.
I think more tips would be: 1. Make your house unnoticeable, in the corner of the map would be a good place, because to be honest there are so many raiders, on blood nights employees would go somewhere else to look for more people. 2. Always have a backup base. For example, if your place is in a high, shelf spot, I recommend making a good, landing spot, beanbags at the bottom and then walls to cover around the bean bags. You need this incase any employees are waiting at the bottom, you can stay down there with walls protecting you. 3. Hide your food! Hide your food in safe places you and your team know, raiders or grievers usually grieve bases just to get food and resources, if you make it look like you don’t have food, they’ll just leave. 4. Have a team. Stick to a team you trust. I recommend calling with some of your best friends, a team not only makes things easier it’s fun and you can assign jobs to each other, like scavenging for food and protecting the base. 5. Don’t build sky bases. They could be helpful but it makes them look more obvious if theres just obstacles in the air flying which could attract raiders and could be risky because of fall damage.
@@miyakoyoshika100yearsago4 by backup base, i mean as in one very close to the house, me and my friends made a tall house kind of high and there was a hole in the ground, kind of like a fence around it we could stay there if the employees or raiders come through the top, if we mean a faraway one id suggest a group of people/friends you can trust to stay at the backup and some stay at the original
Why do people make strats for this game? I survived the night just sprinting corner to corner to measure the map, you can survive infinitely by just running and hiding in natural spots
1. Dont greif, it might ruin someone’s time in the game if they are in a bad mood. 2. Make waypoints. My friend forgot to make a waypoint of my base (They did not have their own yet) and died. Their older sister had to get them back. He spawned at pillar a1. My base was at G6. 3. Have an organized food source, because different food gives you different additions to health, food, and energy. Striped donuts, and spaggetti is good, also the Dr. Bob for energy(Obviously its an energy drink) 4. Do not forget you dont just have the power to spin with the Y axis, you also have the X and Z axis. Thats all I could think of. Build idea-If you want to have a spacious inside flip a couch so its at its tallest, then make it turn so the back is going inside your base. So from the inside it looks like a pillar. Hope these helped! 😊
Tbh employee in bases are useful. I had a pet employees and some random greifer came in and was greifing our base . Our pet was very well hidden against some tables so it blends in , we released the employee and it first went after my friend but she led the employee to the greifer and he died .
Tip:When running from employees at night time, Run diagonally and always go inside structures that can hide you from the employee's vision. Also, The Teenager's room plot is also a good spot to hide in when at night.
also if an employee is following you find a mannequin since employees are scared of them or if your making a base make sure to add a mannequin at the entrance
@@kaslanaversal me and my bro did that but we use it to surround our base, and we never got attacked lol. but the problem is, people kept stealing someof our mannequins and i dont have money for robux to buy a private server
OR you can start off with a small panic base and make it bigger (still having doors) so you don’t have to waste time making a panic base, but just use it to make a bigger base!
My man and I were building and we made a panic one and then started expanding and made a second floor 2 people Tried destroying it but since we had a day off we were on it all night to the point it was just us On the server all night Lmaoo
Tip: If there are so much employees at your base at day time and its almost night place mannequins at the front or back of your base, it is based on where the entrance is because employees are scared of mannequins. i hope this helps :)
Another Tip: Did you know the kids bedroom is very useful when you have small amount of time and it is almost night place 1 bunkbed at the front of the empty space to make a wall the front space that makes the inside of your base and use the carpets to fill in the gaps so the little employee cant get through the gaps of the bunkbed and if possible place a pallet or tv or anything to roof up the base so the tall employees cant jump in your base. it is a little and simple base it is easy to make and saves time as well.
I really hate it if people just enter my base without my permission. I just want to play alone without any other players. Last time I had a kitchen base and it was night. I was already dealing with an employee that followed me into my base because I returned to my base too late. Then some random guy entered my base, bringing yet another employee to my base, stealing all the medkits I stored in my base and then running away. Being a thief is basically almost as bad as griefing.
One tip for food that i’ve always used is taking a bathtub and putting all the food/medkits in there. It keeps it away from the rest of the base making it less messy and it has a set spot.
One pet peev of mine: DO NOT just go into someones base without saying anything and stay there. Sometimes we don't want to have to worry about someone else in our base. This one guy just got into my base and when I asked him to leave he didn't say anything and just brought his buddies ans started griefing it. It made me so sad and mad. Don't be that guy
same welp kinda, i was new too the game and got in these girls base, i didnt take anything and didnt know it was rude i asked if i coul stay with them and that i would help them build and etc. the started calling me names and making fun of me, ofc i left cuz ya, toxic, and made my own base, the girls then come up to my base and tear it apart, and hide the pieces i used for it, then they left the game, i was really upset
That also happened to me, except that it’s one person. They started getting a table from my base and when it turned night, they just went in and put the table back and stayed for the whole night WITH NO PERMISSION AT ALL. Atleast I was generous enough to let them stay the night, they left in the morning with my other table >:C
uhhh, i want to share a story, i was playing 3008, build a base made out of bunks bed with ladder facing outside, night comes, a very short employee with only legs climb in, i crouched in the corner till the night end while the employee is trying to attack me by jumping on me, then 2 or 3 minutes before the night end... theres a black foggy pop up in the corner of my phone screen and the employee jumped off and stopped attacking me, tried to move it and make it attack me but it just freeze. Even after the day comes it just freeze, i got freaked out and left my base to find unused or make another base
I would advice new players to at first build a small base as quick and possible and the next day stack up food or just the same day and also tell them about the way point feature so if they die they can return to their base along with the push feature that you can push employees at night if they come behind you by clicking or tapping on them
Little lifehack: Make a double layered wall. That way people can't really barge into your base and if they try, oh look there's another wall, and your base is still intact. Edit: I should've added, yes they can still get in, I meant for when people are running away from an employee they most likely won't want to go and tear another wall down but if it didn't work for you then 🤷♀️ Make more layers of walls ig
@@hexagon250 I mean if they're running from an employee they probably aren't going to want to try and break down two walls and if that doesn't work for you then make another wall🤷♀️
learning how to make backup shelters for the night in a short amount of time with few pieces of furniture is a good skill to know, it helps alot plus you just need to know when food restocks.
Tip: if it's night and you find someone's base and the person is inside, find the door and go through it inside. Going through walls is just dumb. And also always ask them if you can stay until it's safe to get out. In my experience they usually let you stay. If you don't ask, they will start telling you to get out.
1.Don’t invite strangers into your base, there are a lot of sketchy people that will not hesitate to ruin or grief your base.Friends are an exception. 2.Don’t be that person above this tip. 3.Don’t make your base look too noticeable, make it in the corner or really far from all the other bases to avoid vandalism. 4.The IKEA is endless.E N D L E S S! Don’t look for the exit even if it is very tempting. 5. Avoid making sky bases. They might look cool but you can easily get noticed by some sketchy people and they deal a lot of damage. 6. You hate lag? Maybe it would be best to STOP ADDING THE EMPLOYEES INTO YOUR BASES IN PRIVATE SERVERS! Employees like Jim Scary should be avoided if your going to add hundreds of them into your base. All it does is deal lag! 7. Your kinda bored during the day? Maybe you should go out of your base and stock up on food, water and med kits! The more the merrier ! 8. Don’t spam “CAN I COME TO UR BASE PLSSSSSSSSS” all it does is make people want to ignore you. 9.If you don’t know the idea of SCP-3008,Then here are all the things you need to do to survive! The way to survive is to build a base out of all the things surrounding you.For example: Pallets,Tables,Wardrobes (etc) Once you have your base, the smarter thing to do is try to find food. The dumber thing to do is to vandalise and grief someone else’s base just because they are making it a work in progress.People won’t respect you if you spend all of your time bullying others. If you have read this far,OMG HOW?? Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Here's something I think is a great tip! Add a lot of SMALL like enough to fit only two people, bunkers, If you have enough time add around 8 of these bunkers because even if you die at your base and end up far away, your always atleast 500ft away from a bunker! Also: For people with ALOT of time (and probably a private server to save progress) Add medkits and food to the bunkers, mabye even work on making them bigger! Here's another one, If your stranded at night with no bunkers, or just at all. Grab a light and walk with it, this way, you can see much farther ahead of you and this prevents you from running into possible death situations. Small lights work best at they don't take up much of your vision. And another tip: Never go scavenging without a little food, (something that gives a lot of energy preferebly) and atleast have two medkits, but don't to much food and recourses cause if it turns night there's a chance you'll never see that stuff again. (Or foggy day) And lastly here's some facts for new players! 1: shorter employees are faster 2: blood night means all employees get much faster and stronger 3: a foggy day is when ever in the daytime, the people will still attack you, but they move VERY slowly 4: employees can do easy parkour, so if you make parkour to your house, make it a little hard 5: employees can climb ladders 6: food that gives you the most energy, is pasta, donuts, ice cream, or burgers 7: if you whistle, (on mobile there's a button near your joystick thing, but idk how to whistle on anything else) then all players can see your location and name on screen for 30 seconds 8: if your following whistles, the farther you are from the person, the darker they're name will be on screen, (it'll be white when you reach them) 9: it's easier to build a base on the wall because you have much less things you need to get :D If you made it too here, thanks for reading all of this! It took me a while to write! My Roblox username is: I_HAVENOCREATlVlTY13 (The L's are actually uppercase i's) If you wanna play with me I'll be glad too! I usually play once a day, so yeah :D
Oh... Employees can climb ladders... Today I made a base on a shelf and I made a ladder going up to it but I didn't think employees could climb them. When I was being chased by employees I climbed up the ladder and the employees couldn't follow me because they couldn't climb lol. I'll take that advice so next time I'll build a more secure base. Edit : employees are scared of the rare mannequins with legs.
This is what I've learnt as a good tip for base building 1.)If you are going to build a base up high go up 25+ studs high as employees can't go that high 2 ) with floors, ceiling and walls use tall objects and if possible wide objects as it makes base building quicker and easier e.g Tables, wooden panels, wardrobe, shelves/bookshelves and TV screen 3.) I found bunk beds are a good way to hide put two together and flip one around so the ladders meet this means you can still see what is happening while being safe from employees also most employees are too tall to get into the bunkbed. 4.) Fake exits is a sidewards TV ;)
Tips! :please do not steal someone's item and food is kinda mean but also look like grief/Another tip:game cubes are actually not rare is only just wasting your time
Here's another tip: If you're planning to make a pillar base, the best spot would be behind a pillar in the corner. This could draw less attention than regular pillar spots.
Tip: use pool tables for walls/ceiling, they are really big so you can actually get a lot done Another tip: make multiple safe places in your base, whether it’s made out of beds, tables, lights, tvs, anything should work.
I first played the game and went through random people's bases. Some are rude some are nice. I am travelling everywhere without a base literally ditching the employees when it's night time or day time I just keep running around the map searching for people with a purple lantern as my light source.
Tip: If possible, try to find a base that has nobody in it/unowned. I once found a rlly clean base and it’s also pretty big. They save so much time just to build yourself a base
Tip: Waypoint any food areas and abandoned bases you can find. So in case when you die and spawn in night time, you can find a nearby base and find food.
me and my best friend made a base together and before we left we put alllll our food in a stash where u could pretty much spot it in a corner and we fixed up the walls so if anyone found it they could stay there and feel safe! :)
tip: make a way point at your base so that if you get lost you can follow the way point to go back to their base and people would most likely need light to see well u just need a light to see get a light bulb or anything that produces light so in night u can see better. thats all i know hope u use these tips
4:54 The last time I played I just build a kinda high platform but I heard that makes your vision in game worse but I prioritise making an entrance only players can use. I heard you can make doors or something and I never knew that you could defend yourself against the worked. 5:11 I think you put the text there too many times.
Just a tip for new players, find big shelf’s so that you have heaps of recourses up close, also the way no employees can reach u. Also how do u kick employees
as someone who plays this game ridiculously and loves scavenging at night, - scavenging at night is not for a new player, get used to the layout of the ikea maps first - never steal from other peoples bases, their gamecube/djungelskog/rock painting is theirs - food restocks fridays and mondays, do what you will with this information - weekends have different osts than weekdays - blood nights happen every 10 days, either on the 9 digits or the 0 digits, have a stable base ready, you cannot look for stuff at night, you need those supplies in your base immediately - foggy days happen every 13(?) days where employees are still aggressive like during the nights - days are 6 minutes and nights are 5 minutes, a gamepass for 8 robux indicates when days and nights will happen - use your time wisely, make plans for your days have fun in the infinite ikea! :)
My base got griefed multiple times. Here are some tips. Build your house as high as you can on the pillar and leave a bed or 2 so when people come to grief your base you can drop a bed on them and watch them go oof. If your building your base on ground then have an employee or 2 as pets and a wardrobe to hide in.
That is not always a good thing. Someone built a very high base. I climbed up to it just to say, nice base. The guy observed me if I was going to pick food, but I assured him, I wont. He still pulled a furniture from below me and I fell and died. Guess what, I have the "last death waypoint" purchased. Went back to his base and destroyed it.
I built a pillar base with my friend for 5 hours just for two dudes to come in AT NIGHT to grief it out of spite, they even built a good bridge whilst we weren’t looking so they can get easy access
What i always do (especially when i spawn at night) is grab a table, bed, bathtub or couch and crouch (C on Pc or laptop) and place it as close as possible above me and maybe when any other stuff is close enough i grab that and place 'em on the sides so that the little employees dont get to me. Hope this helps! Btw for Newcomers- Food restocks every Monday and Friday. If you dont know how to check when monday or friday is, then just hover over the Day Count thingy. (This is only for laptop and Pc cause i never played the game on Mobile)
And also, If you spawn near the storage things then just take a ladder and climb up (right after take the ladder and place it away from the platform so that the employees dont climb up) if you find more ladders, take them and place so, that you can walk over to the other side to have more space. That's how i do it. If you have any tips on what i should do and should'nt then please tell me, thanks.
I once destroyed 2 bases. I didn't want to but they're too toxic. They could just say "Will you please leave my house?" or "Can you leave my house?" or if you asked someone if you can join a base and instead of being rude just say "I'm sorry, No." "Sorry, I'm not accepting anymore." Not, "GET OUT" "GO AWAY" "NO" "SHU" etc...
Say what you will about employees in your base, but one morning I was chilling and one was stuck in the base. Later ended up being a permanent addition in the walls. Did they kill us eventually? Yes. Were they good insulation? Double yes.
tip: when being chased, turn around and click on the employee to push them. Them run let to right behind a shelter or any other nearby shelter. Also cover base with roof and walls when bloondnight
Tip: You can skybridge with two objects, placing one on top of the other then removing the bottom one causes it to float, good for surviving the night.
more tippy tip top tips. 1: build panic shelters or bunkers with medkits and food in case your base is too far away at night 2: never ever grief because if you do it people can report you and get the account banned 3: the easiest base ever is with bunk beds. crawl into a bunk bed and use something else to block off the opening. you can use these for mini panic bunkers. 4: always make sure to keep mini roblox people and penguins for company. 5: don’t waste inventory space on low energy foods. the best food are striped donuts, soda, meatballs, ice cream, and burgers. 6: on mobile, tap on a worker to kick them. click on them on pc. 7: never grab items at night without looking around first, you could be ambushed. 8: build bases near walls or corners so you don’t have to build as much. also build near food. 9: put mannequins near your base to scare away monsters. 10: don’t put lights outside your base and don’t put your base in open areas, people can destroy them. 11: set waypoints at your base and at food to find them when you’re lost. 12: if there’s a hole in your base, test it to see if you can get through it. if you can, patch it before night. Final tip!! for now… Make private servers or do single player vip to practice building
Somebody came to me and my friends houses, stayed there for 5 days, ( me and my friend had separate bases but next to each other. And they ate and took all of our food. And they died far away and dropped all the food. And someone also took food and left. 1 destroyed my base and took food
You know, building bases on shelves is the way to go for me. These other tips helped me too. I played SCP-3008 on Roblox just now and, I learned that, if you build a base on a shelf, you get a lot to work with. You can build single room apartments for friends and others. That would make your base very secure, efficient, and prosperous. When joining bases, don’t verbally socialize. That would make you the annoying talkative person as everything you say can be heard as far as the other side of the Infinite IKEA. You should bribe people with food and your building skills, or help them with their bases, to join their base. You can also be the wise man if he group and tell them the food sources. Lastly, build your base NEXT to other bases and a permanent food source. Trust me, you’d get less tense and actually feel casual knowing that you have friends next to your base and a food source.
What I do when I play this game, is find the perfect place for my base first. Its gotta be somewhere near other people. It also has to be near a tower that has the aisle number on it. It would also be nice if It was near a cafe or medbay spot. If i cant find the "perfect" place, then I just need somewhere near food. The food i always pick, is donuts, soda (not the big soda), meatballs, and if I have room, then also maybe some fruits. This should be enough for the rest of the week, before it restocks. Then I build up my bases outside, make it secure. Finally I decorate the inside of my base. When I am scavenging I usually first look for shelfs to put my food in, I never go to far, and when I do go far, I have a cool trick, i just find a tower and and use 2 items, and just go up. Dont go to high, because then if u drop an item, you cant get down without having to start over again, or lose a lot of health. Then I get a bed, a couch, a tv, and some other normal items, you can also have funny and intresting items to make your base feel like home. Like a picture of the rock, a penguin, a shark, a manequin, or a cool doll that you can find, at the play areas. Once I do this I either invite someone to live with me, I can invite someone I know in real life or someone in the game who needs the base and help. I can expand with the help with my new roommate. If i dont find a roommate then I just leave the server after saying that im leaving and that its a free base. I join a new one and repeat these steps. I always pick a new structure, for more of a challenge, and so that I am not doing the same thing over and over again. After 2 or 3 times of this, I usually get bored and leave the game. I usually go to adopt me after this. Also people, dont grief or steal. Its not nice and you can make someone upset, just ask for their shark or a big soda, they will most likely give it to u. Hope this helps. My username in roblox is eggsandbacon0901, if you can relate to this, or if you wanna be friends.
Tip: If you have 2 closets near you and its about to become nighttime, grab one closet. Go inside the second. Then close yourself off. It's a safe temporary base that you only need 2 closets for.
@@ihavenoideawhatimdoing4 Yep, you have to make sure there aren't any gaps or else it doesn't work. I find it easiest if you go inside the closet then hover your cursor around until it's as close as possible
The biggest threat in the game is other players, if they find your place, they Will put a waypoint there and keep coming back for food and stuff. Its so annoying, though there are Nice players who either leave or just ask to stay there for a Night.
Annoying if you sometimes play for hours with ur friend and someone comes over ;-; that’s why when we whistle to eachother we always move long away from where we whistled before building base.
I need someone to tell me whether my base is good, I'll explain how I always make bases. First of all, these bases we make are for 2-5 people so yea keep that in mind. first, some things we practically always do, we always decorate the base with these items: Rock Painting, Pinguin, Blajah, DJUNGELSKOG (if we find that mf), the green lamps that come w the pinguin n shark plushies, we only use those since it's an inside joke tbh, a few pool tables, and we try to collect all the toys in the play areas. we put the rock painting onto the pool table and put our food nexto the rock paining, in order to motivate us to eat. we have a joke w saying all plushies are actually monarchs in disguise so we usually get a lot of them, and we use shelfs for the walls and put our medkits on them. Our base is always located in ONE area. The big shelfs. we use ladders to make a staircase going upward to the top, fill in the gap inbetween the two shelves that spawn, get bookshelfs for walls and use planks to top it off. During bloodnights we are pretty safe and we don't have to worry about griefing since we are in a private server. We only play to like night 15, but we are planning on making a huge 100 day thing. So, would these types of bases be good?
the clean and clunky bases really helped me and my friend we aren’t fresh or new to the game we’ve been playing it for a while now we just suck at building bases and never get done in time for a blood night we usually only have half of our base done when a blood night happens so we usually die in one but sometimes we don’t and other times we find really cute abandoned bases so we use those and clean them up and yk but when a blood night happens we don’t have all the stuff thanks for the tips ❤️
Where i would build a base: near or in a cafeteria because you can get food quickly and you don’t really need to go anywhere to scavenge. 2nd place: near medkits. Medkits can really help! If your injured or low health this is a great place to build a base. But in my opinion i would build a base like all round the medkits for a bigger base and more places to put food and medkits. Anyways! Hope these tips help!
A base tip for players who can’t survive first night! Try to find a wall near a shelf area, then build your base on the wall, and remove the only way to get up at night! This could even be 1 single pallette! You should spend day two scavenging. I personally store my food in bathtubs which have tv’s on top of as a lid, but you can be creative with that! Day 3 is your expansion day. Mass security, and if you have the time, ADD LIGHTS!
I just started the game, but what I've learned from nights and running away from employees is probably stop running once they come up to you; It's not safe to keep running as they could be fast, slow, or anything like that. If you stop running, they'll usually get on your head and just jump on it. As long as you don't move through the night, (Which sucks, I know) you should be fine in the game at night. :)
can you make a list of things that roblox 3008 players wanted to be added? i am making a game like scp 3008 in roblox and i wanted ideas to add something :/
Tips I highly suggest -Eat Gamer ice cream if your low in health -Never destroy people bases -Whistle on daytime to find somebody I suggest! but at nighttime go die out side my house
Tip for people: Try to find a good area to start building. For example, try to find a shelf area with a lot of food resources around it. But also try not to get the pizza and detos as well. What you need are lemons, half lemons, water, maybe the dr bob, the burger, meatballs, and hotdogs. Tips for bases: If your trying to make a base, again, try to find shelves. You can build a base with just one shelf but it will take a lot of work. Try using the snap to grid feature in the settings to not make your base clunky. I honestly recommend getting 0.25 or 0.5 snap to grid. You can also build a great base with shelves! Decoration/Rare Items: If you’re looking for lets say a DJUNGELSKOG and you can’t find one. Maybe try checking abandoned bases. Sometimes they do have it, sometimes they don’t. You never know if they have a DJUNGELSKOG or not. Even if you find multiple DJUNGELSKOGS, you can waypoint them and bring them home! But for decoration, try to find the closest areas with lamps, ISKARNAS, and beds (if you wanna). Maybe you want something else or maybe you just want a GameCube.
Tips - - My friends and I have a base INSIDE of our base. We use it incase our base isn’t finished our if it’s a blood night. We take the bunk bed and put it against the wall with the bottom bunk in the ground, not showing. We make it a crouch and side-slide entrance by putting a carpet on it. You can cozy it up underneath. Now you have a bed with a little hang out area that works as a safezone. You never know what might happen, so it’s good to have a safe place in case an employee gets in your base. Its good to have a slide part so that little employees can’t get in. - DON’T BUILD A CROUCH ENTRANCE!!! Little employees are able to get in. And, there’s employees that are… shorter than short. Make an entrance that you turn to your side to slide through. Make it as thin as possible, my friends and I actually try to might a slight struggle to get through. I have heard that sometimes employees slide through, so yeah.
1. Stay home during foggy days- employees kill you, like at night. 2. Bases dont need to be amazing- a small cube of tables with your food inside is fine. 3. Employees can’t move things. 4. Stay in your base at night, and scavenge in the day. 5. Keep your good in your inventory, so you can eat it while scavenging.
Now, just another tip, if you spawn next to food, build a base next to it. Then you can get it anytime. One hack is, put a bunkbed by a wall, then another one in front, with a chair in the middle. Then you can crouch inside of the bunkbed and hide behind the ladder. This is what helped me get out of being chased by one of these employees. ( This tip/hack might not work with different sized employees).
Huge tip for other players who don't know how to lose sight of an employee: number 1: don't run constantly follow this tip: if the employee is near by you crouch when you find a safe area because they cannot hear you.
5 things i do at night 1. Run to my base 2. If i’m being chased by an employee i run to a empty room and make sure that no one’s there 3.being afk 4.stay in base 5. Build a fast door
tip 1: when finding a spot for your new base, immidiately press "t" to mark your base, for me I strategically build my base above a cafeteria and use chairs or shelfs or step ladder with its side facing out no staff wont easily climb up your base, plus staff work with pathfinding and jumps, use bunkbeds facing vertically (up) to defend against tall staff and i added worklights that spawn on picnic plots because they have far range of light which i use to shine down the entrance since it so high, i use tables for the whole structure tip 2: stay next to cafeterias to have unlimited life and energy (in game) tip 3: keep building your base when the sound is completely silent and stay around the vicinity of your base , once a staff calls out, "excuse me, the store is now closed, please exit the building" .Dart straight back to your base ASAP. tip 4: play this game with strong and stable wifi exclaimer: if you play scp-3008 in pc/computer, you'd be likely to join the game with your mouse completely locked so you can never leave the game even if you close your computer, once opened again it will still be locked. So the way to escape this problem is to close your computer, open it up, the cursor is unlocked and free until you get pass your code, in the passcode in the bottom right corner there's the power button and there is your salvation, the "shut down" button", do that and all will be fine and the roblox game will never do that to you for now during the day
The donuts in my opinion, are a smart option to get for food. Donuts will give you a lot of energy and also boost up your health. Only one donut is spawned in a food court since how much help it gives you. This is just a helpful food tip not forcing anyone to do this.
Honestly, to find my way back I put a waypoint in the front of my door or doors either one works. When I’m far, and it’s night I hold a light. Holding the light makes more light and I can carry it around. Then, I just sprint to my base out of desperation

Question of the day: What tips would you give to other new SCP 3008 players?
Height is everything. Its much easier to just build a platform on something higher up then make a full on house with walls and everything. You can focus on stuff like that after you've already set up a safe place.
Buy a vip server.
Be nice to other builders
dont take from other bases and ask before staying in a base if it doesnt look abandoned
Try to build close to food sources (I usually try to build close to shelves and cafes)
1. Don't be that one person who destroys everyone's bases.
@Rare Achievement Giver haha no. But its okay to grief your own house so those 2 aestethic blonde girls dont take your house
I saw that. Two people F'ed up me and my buddy's base we spent a while on

100% yes
Tip: Don't put all your food, drinks and medkits in one place. Keep something in your inventory or elsewhere, so if it ever gets stolen by a player, not everything is gone.
In private servers it’s safe
Things for new players or players that want to try this game:
Mainly, there are two cycles, day and night.
TIPS ON HOME BASES:
- I mainly like using tables and closets to make the walls of my base, but it’s still up to you.
(This is actually true, once, an employee broke into my base even though it was high on a shelf)
- Always make sure there’s a waypoint pointing your base’s location and the location of your nearby canteen/cafeteria, they are very important for your survival so you don’t get lost.
- You can even make a back-up base if your base gets attacked by griefers or if you don’t feel safe there anymore or if you get lost on your way home. Make sure there’s also a waypoint to the back-up base! (You can add up to 6 waypoints in a game).
RUNNING FROM THE STAFF:
- The Staff are kinda slow but during Blood Nights or Foggy Days, they turn into mega psychopaths.
DURING A FOGGY DAY:
- Foggy Days happen every 15-16 days. It lasts for 6 minutes :D
- It’s basically daytime but night idk.
DURING BLOOD NIGHTS:
- Oh boy, this duration is like 5 minutes :D
- Blood Nights happen every 10 days.
THINGS TO NOT DO IN SCP 3008:
- No griefing.
FINDING YOUR FRIENDS:
- One very simple method is the whistling method, however this works if you are friends with the player on Roblox. On PC, click H to whistle, but there’s a cooldown between whistles.)
- The wall method.
STUPID THINGS YOU MIGHT WANNA TRY:
- Keeping an employee as a pet.
THE FLOATING HOUSE:
- The floating house is a plot and has a very rare chance of spawning in a server.
APRIL FOOLS VERSION:
- Hubert: Hubert is found in the April Fools Version, Hubert is tall, has one small sphere as a head, and a bigger sphere as a torso with two cylinders as his arms and legs, whenever he’s nearby, you’ll notice a red light surrounds him as he walks.
Bro how long did it take to type this?
I like whistling alot at night but in my base until i learned that it qastes energt
I put employee in glass cage once
if u spawn during night, i recommend finding a bunkbed spot, grabbing on sitting in one and locking yourself with the bunkbed u grabbed. Its easy, its quick, and it's safe.
One mistake about foggy day: the employees arent that fast theyre just aggressive but still in their usual walking speed at day
I think more tips would be:
Backup base isn't a good idea cuz someone will probably steal it.
I could just hold all the food i need
@@jarvis6253 inventory is too small
Bob for energy(Obviously its an energy drink)
Thanks
Tbh employee in bases are useful. I had a pet employees and some random greifer came in and was greifing our base . Our pet was very well hidden against some tables so it blends in , we released the employee and it first went after my friend but she led the employee to the greifer and he died .
thats smart
now kids, thats why to never grief in the dark**and in blood nights..and in foggy days..**
True that it can be a trap but also take notice of how unlikely it is to catch an employee or trap them tho

Being a thief is basically almost as bad as griefing.
there’s a mode for single player did you know that?
One tip for food that i’ve always used is taking a bathtub and putting all the food/medkits in there. It keeps it away from the rest of the base making it less messy and it has a set spot.
One pet peev of mine: DO NOT just go into someones base without saying anything and stay there. Sometimes we don't want to have to worry about someone else in our base. This one guy just got into my base and when I asked him to leave he didn't say anything and just brought his buddies ans started griefing it. It made me so sad and mad. Don't be that guy
That happened to me too.
same welp kinda, i was new too the game and got in these girls base, i didnt take anything and didnt know it was rude i asked if i coul stay with them and that i would help them build and etc. the started calling me names and making fun of me, ofc i left cuz ya, toxic, and made my own base, the girls then come up to my base and tear it apart, and hide the pieces i used for it, then they left the game, i was really upset
That also happened to me, except that it’s one person. They started getting a table from my base and when it turned night, they just went in and put the table back and stayed for the whole night WITH NO PERMISSION AT ALL. Atleast I was generous enough to let them stay the night, they left in the morning with my other table >:C
i just do in in crisis times and i leave when its morning

uhhh, i want to share a story, i was playing 3008, build a base made out of bunks bed with ladder facing outside, night comes, a very short employee with only legs climb in, i crouched in the corner till the night end while the employee is trying to attack me by jumping on me, then 2 or 3 minutes before the night end... theres a black foggy pop up in the corner of my phone screen and the employee jumped off and stopped attacking me, tried to move it and make it attack me but it just freeze.

@@miyakoyoshika100yearsago4 Most of the time I don't crash if I wait, depends on the person I guess
Here's something I think is a great tip!
Add a lot of SMALL like enough to fit only two people, bunkers,
If you have enough time add around 8 of these bunkers because even if you die at your base and end up far away, your always atleast 500ft away from a bunker!
Also:
For people with ALOT of time (and probably a private server to save progress)
Add medkits and food to the bunkers, mabye even work on making them bigger!
Here's another one,
If your stranded at night with no bunkers, or just at all. Grab a light and walk with it, this way, you can see much farther ahead of you and this prevents you from running into possible death situations. Small lights work best at they don't take up much of your vision.
And another tip:
Never go scavenging without a little food, (something that gives a lot of energy preferebly) and atleast have two medkits, but don't to much food and recourses cause if it turns night there's a chance you'll never see that stuff again. (Or foggy day)
And lastly here's some facts for new players!
1: shorter employees are faster
2: blood night means all employees get much faster and stronger
3: a foggy day is when ever in the daytime, the people will still attack you, but they move VERY slowly
4: employees can do easy parkour, so if you make parkour to your house, make it a little hard
5: employees can climb ladders
6: food that gives you the most energy, is pasta, donuts, ice cream, or burgers
7: if you whistle, (on mobile there's a button near your joystick thing, but idk how to whistle on anything else) then all players can see your location and name on screen for 30 seconds
8: if your following whistles, the farther you are from the person, the darker they're name will be on screen, (it'll be white when you reach them)
9: it's easier to build a base on the wall because you have much less things you need to get :D

Edit : employees are scared of the rare mannequins with legs.
and in blood night they also get smarter too so they can see you further away and climb stuff

Is it morally acceptable to lead an employee to someone who decides to live in my base without permission?

Yeah lol
absolutely
Y E S but i would make a staff suffer instead-
Absolutely.
This is what I've learnt as a good tip for base building
1.)If you are going to build a base up high go up 25+ studs high as employees can't go that high
2 ) with floors, ceiling and walls use tall objects and if possible wide objects as it makes base building quicker and easier e.g Tables, wooden panels, wardrobe, shelves/bookshelves and TV screen
3.) I found bunk beds are a good way to hide put two together and flip one around so the ladders meet this means you can still see what is happening while being safe from employees also most employees are too tall to get into the bunkbed.
4.) Fake exits is a sidewards TV ;)
They are not called wooden panels they are called pallets
Tips! :please do not steal someone's item and food is kinda mean but also look like grief/Another tip:game cubes are actually not rare is only just wasting your time
Here's another tip: If you're planning to make a pillar base, the best spot would be behind a pillar in the corner. This could draw less attention than regular pillar spots.
tip: when a random player comes up to you and gives you items, TAKE THE ITEMS.
Why tho? Sorry I'm new in the game.
I would say "thank you generous player"
🤣Thats what I do
ye
why wouldnt you take the items?
Tip: use pool tables for walls/ceiling, they are really big so you can actually get a lot done
Another tip: make multiple safe places in your base, whether it’s made out of beds, tables, lights, tvs, anything should work.

I have had very bad experiences with griefers
griefing is the only rule tho
I first played the game and went through random people's bases. Some are rude some are nice. I am travelling everywhere without a base literally ditching the employees when it's night time or day time I just keep running around the map searching for people with a purple lantern as my light source.
I do that with a green lantern but I make little shelters at night if I get chased by employees
Tip: If possible, try to find a base that has nobody in it/unowned. I once found a rlly clean base and it’s also pretty big. They save so much time just to build yourself a base

as someone who plays this game ridiculously and loves scavenging at night,
- scavenging at night is not for a new player, get used to the layout of the ikea maps first
- never steal from other peoples bases, their gamecube/djungelskog/rock painting is theirs
- food restocks fridays and mondays, do what you will with this information
- weekends have different osts than weekdays
- blood nights happen every 10 days, either on the 9 digits or the 0 digits, have a stable base ready, you cannot look for stuff at night, you need those supplies in your base immediately
- foggy days happen every 13(?) days where employees are still aggressive like during the nights
- days are 6 minutes and nights are 5 minutes, a gamepass for 8 robux indicates when days and nights will happen

(This is only for laptop and Pc cause i never
played the game on Mobile)
And also, If you spawn near the storage things then just take a ladder and climb up (right after take the ladder and place it away from the platform so that the employees dont climb up) if you find more ladders, take them and place so, that you can walk over to the other side to have more space. That's how i do it. If you have any tips on what i should do and should'nt then please tell me, thanks.
I once destroyed 2 bases. I didn't want to but they're too toxic. They could just say "Will you please leave my house?" or "Can you leave my house?"
or if you asked someone if you can join a base and instead of being rude just say "I'm sorry, No." "Sorry, I'm not accepting anymore."
Not, "GET OUT" "GO AWAY" "NO" "SHU" etc...

9: put mannequins near your base to scare away monsters.
10: don’t put lights outside your base and don’t put your base in open areas, people can destroy them.

Tip: when being chased by an employee, try to get out of its vision. They only chase you when they see you.
I love how the thumbnail is like dont float while running in scp 3008

I don't think thats intended.
I need someone to tell me whether my base is good, I'll explain how I always make bases.
First of all, these bases we make are for 2-5 people so yea keep that in mind.
first, some things we practically always do, we always decorate the base with these items:
Rock Painting, Pinguin, Blajah, DJUNGELSKOG (if we find that mf), the green lamps that come w the pinguin n shark plushies, we only use those since it's an inside joke tbh, a few pool tables, and we try to collect all the toys in the play areas.
we put the rock painting onto the pool table and put our food nexto the rock paining, in order to motivate us to eat. we have a joke w saying all plushies are actually monarchs in disguise so we usually get a lot of them, and we use shelfs for the walls and put our medkits on them.
So, would these types of bases be good?
i think they are good
I some how think i saw a base exactly described like this
Mine is almost like that.
the base is much better than my bases
the clean and clunky bases really helped me and my friend we aren’t fresh or new to the game we’ve been playing it for a while now we just suck at building bases and never get done in time for a blood night we usually only have half of our base done when a blood night happens so we usually die in one but sometimes we don’t and other times we find really cute abandoned bases so we use those and clean them up and yk but when a blood night happens we don’t have all the stuff thanks for the tips ❤️
I guess one tip if you don’t want to get grieved and want to find your base, is build in the corners of the Ikea, and boom.
It wont help , it happend to me.
Don't greif.

Tips I highly suggest
-Eat Gamer ice cream if your low in health
-Never destroy people bases
-Whistle on daytime to find somebody I suggest! but at nighttime go die out side my house
2: don’t be that person that goes to bases and take food
2:03 except for the fact that some employees can jump over 2 sideways palletes
your channel is so so super helpful keep up the good word rayd!!!!
Tip for people:
Try to find a good area to start building. For example, try to find a shelf area with a lot of food resources around it. But also try not to get the pizza and detos as well. What you need are lemons, half lemons, water, maybe the dr bob, the burger, meatballs, and hotdogs.
Tips for bases:
If your trying to make a base, again, try to find shelves. You can build a base with just one shelf but it will take a lot of work. Try using the snap to grid feature in the settings to not make your base clunky. I honestly recommend getting 0.25 or 0.5 snap to grid. You can also build a great base with shelves!
Decoration/Rare Items:
If you’re looking for lets say a DJUNGELSKOG and you can’t find one.
One of the tips has to be if you're building an obby on one of the towers if you get high enough then the employees won't see you
Tips -
- My friends and I have a base INSIDE of our base.
“WE GET THE GAME CUBE AND DIP”
And
“Hey mike you got milk”
They both got me so bad-
5 things i do at night
1. Run to my base
2. If i’m being chased by an employee i run to a empty room and make sure that no one’s there
3.being afk
4.stay in base
5. Build a fast door
tip: glass tables are great for windows, but have you thought to use them as floors? makes it easier to spot the employees under you
tip 1: when finding a spot for your new base, immidiately press "t" to mark your base, for me I strategically build my base above a cafeteria and use chairs or shelfs or step ladder with its side facing out no staff wont easily climb up your base, plus staff work with pathfinding and jumps, use bunkbeds facing vertically (up) to defend against tall staff and i added worklights that spawn on picnic plots because they have far range of light which i use to shine down the entrance since it so high, i use tables for the whole structure
tip 2: stay next to cafeterias to have unlimited life and energy (in game)
tip 3: keep building your base when the sound is completely silent and stay around the vicinity of your base , once a staff calls out, "excuse me, the store is now closed, please exit the building" .Dart straight back to your base ASAP.
tip 4: play this game with strong and stable wifi
exclaimer: if you play scp-3008 in pc/computer, you'd be likely to join the game with your mouse completely locked so you can never leave the game even if you close your computer, once opened again it will still be locked. So the way to escape this problem is to close your computer, open it up, the cursor is unlocked and free until you get pass your code, in the passcode in the bottom right corner there's the power button and there is your salvation, the "shut down" button", do that and all will be fine and the roblox game will never do that to you for now during the day
8:16 "no not the penguin" man i would do that with a penguin and toy and I started laughing a little 😅
The donuts in my opinion, are a smart option to get for food. Donuts will give you a lot of energy and also boost up your health. Only one donut is spawned in a food court since how much help it gives you. This is just a helpful food tip not forcing anyone to do this.
Whenever i stop by a cafe i usually waste most of the morning time looking and comparing which food gives most energy and what doesn’t XD
Honestly, to find my way back I put a waypoint in the front of my door or doors either one works. When I’m far, and it’s night I hold a light. Holding the light makes more light and I can carry it around. Then, I just sprint to my base out of desperation
i hate ppl who barge in ur base when its night just cause their being chased
