Baseballs have kinda proven to be a natural enemy of teeth.
Baseballs are leather on the outside, then it's tightly wrapped yarn and then cork, they might feel soft to a little bit of fingertip force but the are quite solid, way softer than the outer shell of a golf ball but the same physics in the middle, both are required to compress a little bit to store a bunch of energy and then rebound, if it deformed easily it wouldn't store any energy. You could bite into a baseball and it wouldn't do anything, you wouldn't bite through it and you wouldn't break your teeth and you might even be able to grip it if you had a big enough jaw but getting hit in the mouth or head with a baseball leads to significant injury
Edit: I missed the rubber in between the cork and yarn that stores energy in my description of the baseball

The reason Reynor responded *"HYDRAS"* to Harstem's question was not out of sincere belief, but in order to ... "BAIT" Harstem into making a video where he is massing Hydras...
....so that Reynor can learn how to best do it himself, after SOMEONE ELSE has tested the waters... :P

I don't know if it's just an interaction with Cure's hellbat style but Reynor's hydras did seem pretty effective at creep maintenance early on

I believe Reynor misread Cures early agression as a mech play. They built Hydras in response to a mech push that never came.

Growing up my cousin wanted to be a pitcher. So that meant I caught many of baseballs with my teeth. Trust me it doesn't break them.

Mass hydra is pretty dumb long term, but it's a great way to snipe a bunch of medivacs, which is how to stop stimmed marines for a little bit. Yes, it's still dumb, but if you're Reynor you can make anything work. And he eventually had more than enough vipers for the tanks after they, um, massacred many of the hydras, forcing Reynor to replace them with sensible units.

i think baseballs have wood inside. So goof luck biting through one. Why do you think they wear helmets and have big gloves ;D Golf balls just have a hard outer like 1mm layer but its just rubber band inside. I even believe its easier to bite through a golf ball. If a golf ball hits you hard on like your head it hurts like hell but the ball deforms and takes off a lot of the energy. A baseball tho almost doesnt deform. But since it hits on a bigger survace and slower speed its less of an impact. But still it might even hurt more.
Hydras suck so bad. They're just way too expensive to use like this. They should have no gas cost and increase the gas cost on their upgrades.

Ghosts are an *actual* joke as well: "Let's make a unit that can one or twoshot most biological units, can completely negate psionic type enemies, cant be targeted by either anti-light or anti-armor attacks, and can cloak so you cant pick them off easily." This is a joke you tell at a late night standup comedy routine to make fun of bad game design.
You can max out at the 8min mark with lings and roaches but not with hydras..it would take you another minute at the 9min. mark
