Man I remember Bruce back then being so happy and surprised by the success of Die Hard. Nobody believed that he could become an actual movie star. It's really something to see how a lot of huge actors were so humble and relateable at the start of their careers, and just seemed so happy doing what they did.

I saw Diehard in the theater when it came out. I remember thinking of it as "The Towering Inferno of the 80's" (which I also saw in the theater when it came out). 70's and 80's were great decades for movies. Hard to believe Frank Sinatra (at 70 years old) was considered for starring in Diehard originally.
I love when Dave interviews up and coming talent in Hollywood. This Willis guy has an everyman quality that could prove interesting as the lead in an action movie. Hope he has a good career.

To keep it all in context Bruce Willis was FIre at this point, A semi Hollywood Bad Boy, his show Moonlighting was the quirky Hip Cool TV show, he having Married Demi Moore of Hollywood female Brat Pack Royalty, Demi Moore being mega popular herself. You can see the Don Johnson/MIami Vice influence from his wardrobe....and then Die Hard BROKE OUT as the Mega Hit which is the Iconic 80's Movie of today. It was a great time! Cable was fledgling. about 7yrs old, NOTHING to what is today...Going to the Movies was still an event.
I love him with or without hair as he looks great but it’s nice to see how he used to look like with hair. One of my favourite actors of all time! When I see him in a cast of a new movie I know it’ll be pretty good! Sad to see what he is going through these days but these things happen to many people at that age, just hope there will be a cure for that sometime soon!

I remember this interview. To keep it all in context Bruce Willis was FIre at this point, A semi Hollywood Bad Boy, his show Moonlighting was the quirky Hip Cool TV show, he having Married Demi Moore of Hollywood female Brat Pack Royalty, Demi Moore being mega popular herself. You can see the Don Johnson/MIami Vice influence from his wardrobe....and then Die Hard BROKE OUT as the Mega Hit which is the Iconic 80's Movie of today. It was a great time!
Cable was fledgling. about 7yrs old, NOTHING to what is today...Going to the Movies was still an event.
I love him with or without hair as he looks great but it’s nice to see how he used to look like with hair. One of my favourite actors of all time! When I see him in a cast of a new movie I know it’ll be pretty good! Sad to see what he is going through these days but these things happen to many people at that age, just hope there will be a cure for that sometime soon!

Wow, I remember seeing this when it aired originally. I was so stoked to see Die Hard and it did not disappoint, what a classic. Love Bruce!
