Ok so working in sales and in tech and as a boss, the only thing you can say in that position is that 'it is not my recommendation to use that particular product, but it is a very trustworthy brand that stands behind their components and being electronics, things sometimes don't work right out of the box or fail over time. There is no perfect recommendation.' So at least you change the scope of the conversation and lead the client into changing things up instead of, what i'm guessing, was going with the 'budget' option. Don't want crap, don't buy crap. You only have yourself to blame.

Welcome back. Yeah, I recently started practicing proper soldering. I previously had very mediocre skill in that field but picked up a few things from Louis Rossman videos. Recently I picked up a couple of GPU compute boards to modify for use as a video encoding assist boards for multiple VMs (Turn Nvidia Tesla into K2). Anyway, I picked up a decent hot air rework and soldering station and I really like the way it give precise control over the temperature of the soldering iron.
Breadboards are great too, like when you're working with ATMega micro-controllers and such.

last 7 months my dog and i grew a mullet
kinda lost interest with tech
mainly due to the difficulty of keeping up with everything and my own pc deciding to spray paint the toilet with its digital crap
on another note ive always been leaning towards the 4wd scene now that i have a landcruiser to restore i dont get much time to dabble with tech

@@CPUmodder 1983 hj60 for 4 grand, only needs some work on the suspension and exhaust, thats what is stopping it from getting a rwc, but there are some other minor things that id like to do. not in a hurry so im not very fussed
