It's so sad what happened to him in that ski accident. What a legend.

A true german legend! Very sadly Schumacher suffered a severe brain injury in a skiing accident in 2013 and was placed in coma. In 2014 he was relocated to his home to receive medical treatment and rehabilitation privately. Since for 10 years now, nobody (!) has heard anything about Schumachers condition. Poor guy! *pray

Michael was just great. Not only was he a fantastic driver, he was also the working horse of Ferrari. He was always the first one in the mechanics garage and on the testing track and he was also the last one. He also worked out the race strategy together with his team.

Ferrari was a mess before him and became a mess again after he left.
He is the greatest F1 driver ever. I'm not a Schumi fan, i rooted for Mika, Jaques and Jenson.

@@GeeShocker I'm not a F1 expert (or expert in any sports^^) but i heard from a friend, that Ferrari made the big mistake to only hire Italians for the crew after Jean Todt was gone as Teamleader. While Jean Todt was in charge, he didn't care for the nation but only for the skills, the mechanic brought with him.
So no wonder, that Ferrari went down to be a mess after that

@@Anthyrion Todt joined Ferrari in '93, they didn't improve a lot up to '96 when Schumacher joined.
'96 the team still wasn't up for the task. In '97 after Schumacher was there for a full season they became a real contender.
The "national team" approach can go both ways. It was a major factor for Lancia dominating rallying. Seems it didn't work at Ferrari.

The best racing driver ever is probably Walter Röhrl. There is a story that Walter and Michael were driving Ferraris on the Nürburgring without knowing who was in the car. When Michael saw who overtook him on the bend, he later said "Okay, it's you".
