Paul, you look like a ton o' fun to be around, no wonder you have great people in tow. I have to mention also, that you are the only one with a drink in your hand the whole time like you are at a party, and it's fitting since you seem to bring a party with you everywhere! Go Paul, and FR!
Can't beat that kinda day. Good friends, good wheeling, and a good recovery. That's when you end the day cracking a cold Mt dew. Or beverage of your choice. Great work by all. The editing is amazing. Keeps the details where they need to be. Never missing out on a dull moment.
I love your new editing & filming techniques. Super creative! Giving Matt the Entertainer a run for his money. LOL Brett was the real hero making it up all that stuff in that diminished rig.
I love the editing on this video with the multi angles in one shot! So many videos from all sorts of TH-cam channels have the multi angles one after another of the same thing but it is really cool seeing it all at the same time.
Best part of the week for me .. Fab Rats , Morr, make fighting cancer ( 3rd time ) a little easier. Never been wheeling but looks like a hell of a good time ..
@@robertheinkel6225 pancreatic stage 3 for me so the chemo just prolongs things , but at least i get to spend more time with the grandkids. I just started an experimental drug so I am hoping to be here a long time. Make the most of every day , keep healthy my friend..
Loved the editing on this video. The split screen, personal reaction cams, and the popups for the all participants in the trail ride were the best. I liked the personal cams most of all. To be able to watch the reactions and mental focus of the drivers, even when the going was not so tough, was priceless, and added a valuable extra dimension to the video. And - FabRats is the only southern Utah off road recovery channel that's got this level of editing. Eat your heart out, MORR. 😄
I'm a retired heavy equipment operator and admire your history in the utilities side. A rat rod excavator gives you an automatic 360 turn. Out riggers would be a must. Winches, the whole nine yards could be mounted. No tracks
Great seeing Rhett and Jamie getting some trail time......Loved that Jamie asked for some trail time. She already definitely has the "feel".......Loved that Rhett took the side by side so he could also get more time on the trail.....A++.....They both are turning into top driver's, especially with Matt's guidance!.....Fun video!!
Just ain't right, when your work allows you to wheel and have fun at the same time! Yeah, I'm a little envious! Great job both wheeling, and,...wheeling LOL
Just means one thing Paul.Bigger tires & you'll make the waterfall? Loved this video, all that crawling was spectacular. Thanks for the first thing in the morning with coffee entertainment. You all are the best. 🙂
Some play time is good. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Rhett is awesome in the SxS. Jefe has the Bronco dialed in. He’s keeping pace with these highly modded rigs. The FJ just gets it done. Amazingly capable rig and in Paul’s hands...unstoppable.
Damn Rhett, you were the man in that little thing. It really shows a good driver that can drive an ill equipment machine through obstacles. We all have more fun in something that doesn’t have 40’s and lockers.
Hey Michelle, tell Paul I have a simple way to help keep the wrecker cooled down in seconds... we did it pull trucks & race cars... by adding a simple 12v windshield washer bottle with pump & 2 wide angle nozzles aimed in front of the radiator stack. The engine running can drop 20 degrees in seconds... with AC, ect it takes a bit more water but also works great in front of intercoolers towing up a hill. I install snows water/meth injection on a lot of rigs to help in the summer when it gets crazy hot out but spraying a small amount of water in front of the rad works amazing due to the evaporation effect. I hook mine to a momentary switch & come winter time I just add rubbing alcohol or bug juice to keep it from freezing. Simple & works great... want to try a 12v weed sprayer pump from the farm store that has 80+ psi & add 3-4 fine mist jets like for a patio cooling system... ps add a filter to avoid clogging! That would really work amazing! Enjoy the videos & a patron. God Bless
Rett was the bomb in that SXS! He just wheeled it on through, no sweat. Great day all around- except for the guys with the breakdown. Hope you all get to have more great days having fun. Stay safe and GOD bless
Common question:What is the best wheelbase? There's no right answer. Some obstacles a longer wheelbase is helpful and some a shorter wheelbase makes it. This video illustrates that perfectly.
Big hint...AC works better with all the windows closed.. As my mom would have said "Are you cooling the outdoors", only with her it referred to the furnace and heat.
Thanks for yet another great video Paul!! Rhett is a heck of a driver in his tiny Polaris! So fun to watch! You need to gets your boys on the trail in their own rigs too, Paul!! We miss having Michelle in the videos! She always gets us in a good mood with her great personality and fun laughter!! Best regards from Norway!
The FJ and the Wrecker are both so capable of a good day of rock crawling or rescuing someone in need to get their vehicle out of a bad situation! It's the best of both worlds, having a good time with your family and friends, or having a good time saving the day of someone in need of your assistance! Til next time take care and we'll see you on the next...
Always a good day when you can have fun and nothing breaks. If at first you don't secede they use that horsepower, which always makes Paul smile. Thanks for filming another regular day in Utah.
Utah is one beautiful state. Videos like this are worth watching just for the scenery alone. Good folks having fun and filming it is the bonus. Thanks for sharing.
So many cool rigs, doing what they can do...I was surprised how well Barnes' Comanche did those waterfalls, but the FJ is my all-time sentimental favorite, for two reasons: First, it was my introduction to FabRats, the first full build I watched on your channel, and second, my very first 4x4 was a year-old FJ40 in 1969. It was extensively modified (15x10 wheels, with farm implement tires and tubes, lol), and took me into a lot of places I had no business going in California and Utah. As time went on I did manage to improve it a bit, and have had many since then, but my red FJ is all about good memories, and gaining experience. Your FJ seems to me to be the ultimate Yota..thanks for these videos. And shout out to Michelle, who used to edit everything, and to her successor, who made your channel the best of the best...
This tow truck turned out great. It is so much fun watching you just walk all around out there where ones got stuck your truck just rolls threw. Yes a lot is the drive but I like that balance your tow truck has. GREAT BUILD AND GREAT JOB HELPING PEOPLE OUT.
That little side by side is a lot more capable than a person would have thought. It's kind of funny that where Paul couldn't make it everyone else did but later on he was the only one able to make it up where most every one else didn't even try. Only exception was Ben and he didn't make it.
Everything about this video is great, and the editing is super, thanks Michelle and the team! I'm like lots of people, I'd watch you people mow the lawn lol.....
Fab Rats team and Matt's off road recovery crew along with Barnes Comanche are having fun in Hogg Canyon! These vehicles are all very capable rock crawler's and proved it today. Rhett did a good job on his wheeler to and got pretty wild a couple of times.
The sound effects for the RC car!!! „Why are you running „… AWESOME 😂😂😂😂😂
I am digging the split screen shots. Looks like a great day out with friends.
Had to go back and watch the other camera view. It is like bonus video... 😂
That is a cool touch !
The screaming voice over on the r/c car got me to hit the like button.
Not that I didn't like the entire video, but that was icing on the cake.
Ben's Jeep is super capable. Good to see the FJ out for a play day
Rhett's a pretty darn good driver... and he's as nuts as you, Paul.
It's always the youngest child 😅
Isn't Rhett Matt's kid
@@jamessavage503 yes he is, but he's matts youngest 😂
@@jeepindave5464 lol, you almost saved it!
@@jeepindave5464 Karter is actually Matt’s youngest.
The editing on this video is the best.
Paul’s face while he is sending it is classic “been doing this my whole life! Everything is fine!” I love it.
Hog Canyon once again. Liking the background music choices and the split screens.
Paul, you look like a ton o' fun to be around, no wonder you have great people in tow. I have to mention also, that you are the only one with a drink in your hand the whole time like you are at a party, and it's fitting since you seem to bring a party with you everywhere! Go Paul, and FR!
That rescue looks like a carnival ride that you ought to charge for!!
Oh, I'm sure they do.
Agreed! I'd be game for a ride 😄
Awesome job paul! Ben too. Looked like everyone had a great time and no one broke. Doesn't get any better than that. Thanks Rat 🐀 Crew!
Can't beat that kinda day. Good friends, good wheeling, and a good recovery. That's when you end the day cracking a cold Mt dew. Or beverage of your choice. Great work by all. The editing is amazing. Keeps the details where they need to be. Never missing out on a dull moment.
Ben's jeep is even more capable each time he takes it out. I LIKE it.
I can't tell if it's more capable or if he has more Trust in it either way that's one cool machine
OMG hahahahahaha whoever did that RC car edit you got me so good! S tier comedy!!!
I was dying laughing when I heard that.
WOW! I think Rhett was the star of that off roading adventure. 🙂
I love your new editing & filming techniques. Super creative! Giving Matt the Entertainer a run for his money. LOL

2 things. First way to go rett. Second that bit with the rc car had me crying

Rhett(?) is the king today
Not taking anything away from Paul's abilities, but the wrecker makes it look easy. Well done.

The RC car screaming 😂
Love the split/ multiple screen view. Good job!
Having fun. Nobody gets hurt and motor vehicles are not damaged. Sounds like a fun day!
the RC scream, lol, that got me, lol.
Lol.
RatRod Wrecker for the win that sand hill was a duzey impressive always super impressive
Idk who’s editing these but 😂😂😂 the screaming RC car got me 🤣🤣🤣
Good fun, extra good on the editing and camera work.
Central California watching

His wheel base is just the wrong length.
Looks like he needed to air down a little…
Wheelbase was helpful on the vertical waterfall though 18:00
When we get a 30+ min upload we are very happy thanks Michelle!
Great job on the split screen 👍🏻
Looks like everyone had a great time.
Great to see the whole gang out there having fun

Great day,

I have a 900 RZR Trail and I have big respect for the 800 Trail pilot. I do that in Az with mine. It’s tough. 👍
I won something huh, is this one of the FR Scams?
The rat rod wrecker sounds amazing. Big blocks have a very aggressive sound at higher rpms!!!!
Fab rats are my favorite TH-camrs point blank period
That was fun to watch. Loving the split screen action. =)
Ben's jeep was the winner of the day
Love the split screen looks!
Can we all agree that Paul's ability to drive trails one handed with an open cup and not spilling a DROP is amazing?
Great day crawling with friends & the wreaker doing it's job can't wait to see the bus build, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😎👍
congrats,Paul on being the only rig to conquer the toughest line
most impressive thing in this video is Rhetts driving ability in that rasor!! just plain fearless!
As someone who isnt a GM fan I will be the first to say that wrecker is badass.

Thanks for letting us tag long! It was a great day!
Great video loved hearing that Chevy roar through the sand
I love the look of that Comanche, all those straight lines look tuff
Glad Ben’s got a Jeep, and man what a Jeep. Also, that was a quality crew. Nice seeing everyone out enjoying their sport.

Double whammy video with the wrecker action at the end!
You can pull the GM heat shields off the factory exhaust from Michelle’s wreaked Yukon and weld them onto the wrecker exhaust areas under cab .

Pretty cool too watch, and a good recovery. Have a good week and count your blessings amen. 😁👍
After a terrible day, this made my day! Love y’all for bringing a smile to my face.❤
Love the sound of that tow truck!
Fun, great video and editing.
It's awesome how much fun you guys have together and it shows with your friendship that you have. It's just missing Holly, Robbie and Hillbilly
Best of this was Rhett on the RAZR. A little crazy, ballzie, and lot of skill. I did hold my breath a time or two for him.
Paul the the tow truck sound so good just idling & great on the high end too under a load. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Paul going Western is always fun to watch. Ben as well. Fun to watch.
Everything about this video is great, and the editing is super, thanks Michelle and the team! I'm like lots of people, I'd watch you people mow the lawn lol.....
Such beautiful country. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
After all that time rebuilding the tow truck, seeing it do it´s thing like this is so awesome, what a capable machine.
