No More Weave! Just kidding Do You! But I am sharing my experience why I stopped wearing weave and it’s 2 and a half years later and I’m still going strong. Making a vow to never wear weave again has been challenging. Especially when your hair does not want to coperate. However, I’ve stuck it out and this video is to give you insight on my personal journey on becoming weave free!

Loved this video! I am currently on this same journey. I shaved my hair all off to go natural again but I didn't wanna wear it super short so I kept weave/wigs in every single day for over a year. Very bad for my own hair bc I wasn't caring for it at all. Just this past week I just got tired of it and also I felt God telling me to take it out so I did and I'm caring for it. I do get frustrated with it bc it's in that awkward length and can't do a lot to it yet but I'm happy that it will be healthy. Im also dealing with feeling insecure without the wigs. It's getting better. Just have to get used to it. I will also start praying for healthy, full hair. God bless!

I've been there and think of your hair as different levels of your faith. The more you grow inwardly the more you will see the growth outwardly. The awkward stage may be a reflection of you gaining acceptance for who you are in Christ and accepting your hair can be a major step. I know you will grow and your hair will follow!

Wonderful❤️ I’m going through the same thing right now. Use to get terrified of wearing my own hair, it was a mess plus got scalp issues so u can imagine how I felt when I got a dream of a flood that came out of no where and wash away my wig and makeup right into a gutter. I was a bit scared when I woke up because I knew it was the lord telling me to get rid of the wig n makeup because I was obsessed with it. Today I can say I’m getting more confident day by day to wear my own hair and less makeup. Hair is thriving too, thank u Jesus ! Couldn’t hv done it without you ❤️😔
