I did XYZ on 2 hours of sleep.” and blah blah blah. May not be in that moment, but your pain will be used as a weapon against you eventually. When THEY shut down, we have to be captain save-an-estranged girlfriend/wife or they’ll leave you). I just lie, say I’m good and talk to my male friends or brothers about it.😂 At least I get solutions that way and men who truly know what it’s like from a man’s perspective. You can’t even be sick around women these days. If y’all live together and you got the flu and it takes way longer for you to get better(which is literally most guys), she’s still expecting you to just get tf up and do stuff eventually or sooner than expected, even when you feel like you’re dying. I had Covid and was bed ridden for 6 WEEKS when the first strain hit. 3 weeks in she was like “GET UP and DO SOMETHING!” I could barely fucking breathe and couldn’t even stand up for more than 5 mins at a time and you want me to wash the fucking dishes? YOU WASH THE DISHES! I AM UNWELL!🤣 But because I’m a MAN, I’m supposed to be some super saiyan god that doesn’t ever feel weak or bothered or vulnerable, but you want us to “open up”? It’s all a sham. Just lie, fellas. I swear, women can be the most heartless people on the planet. Whole time they say they’re “empathetic” and nurturing and caring. Me and her are a lot better now and working on issues in the relationship, but old habits die hard and some bullshit just won’t change in people.
