Anyone taking it pls keep in mind fatty liver disease. It doesn't get the serious attention it deserves. My mother died from it, wasn't picked up until it was terminal. Benni 1937-2018. ❤️

Just months before taking my methotrexate my liver function tests and ultrasonic shows my healthy liver up and then just a year or less of taking this my liver tests shows fatty liver in that short period of time while on methotrexate its just so sad when doctors always claiming that oh no it wont harm your body in any way cause "it's just a low dosage pills for chemo" compared to what cancer patients take .... Buts sometimes i guess it really is depends upon each and everyone's body And state of health on how it will or will not take any side effects of our body
I started my first dose of 3 pills. I took it at nigh an within an hour. I felt like brain was gonna explode. I had the worst migraine ever. The morning after I almost fainted. I checked my bp it dropped pulse was 114. My heart felt like it was gonna jump out my chest while steal dealing the head ache. I felt 100% other than normal aches and pains prior to taking the methotrexate. I'm also sensitive to meds.
My eye doctor just prescribed this to me. I was diagnosed with bilateral uveitis, and they can not find a cause. Although, they have done blood work and test, they want to see if this along with steroids will eliminate the inflammation in both eyes by suppressing the immune system.
First line of attack.. my daughter was put on actemra infusions. They worked with steroids too, but when she comes off them, her soijra comes back hard ..flare. She starts methotrexate tomorrow night and I'm terrified for her. I've heard horror stories. Ugh.
when i was on this i often suffered from horrible side effects to the point where i had to come off, but there are many things that help such as anti sickness tablets for nausea and making sure you take lots of folic acid to fight the feelings x
Hit there I been in methotrexate for about a year now. I feel like I got my RA under control for now. But I have loud tinnitus I reas that’s a side effect but rare. Could this be the case I never had damage to my ear 👂
This drug has been my life for the past 5 years. Constantly living with the side effects, I´m 22 but I feel like 82

This stuff is nasty. Caused mouth sores, hair loss, and I’m pretty sure it’s messing with my eyes too. Damn chemo drug
im on methatrexate injection each week and i hate it it makes me feel so sick like i need to throw up 💀🤷🏽♀️

i havent had any side affect with methotrexate, ive been on it for about 2 months now, lucky me

Wasn’t for me. Endless aspirating mucus that looked like batter that almost choked me out. My system requires holistic tendencies.

Why cant i take folic acid while on methotrexate. Dr never explained it to me.

I had hair loss nausa and it caused inflammation of my stomach very bad distension. Had to come off it.
I started self injecting myself with this new medication and it makes me feel so horrible

Having a hard time with Trexall, any recommendations for pain relief or managing the nausea and migraines would be appreciated 💕
