To anyone who bought the mcgaughys kit and can’t find a way to remove the bottom bolt of the rear leaf spring. you should remove the tow hitch to have the clearance to pull it out
You are very therral with your instructions on your videos . I will be doing the same to my 2008 Silverado rcsb. Glad to see it can be done in 1 day Thanks , JD HANEY
Did you install the shocks correctly on the first truck. They look upside down. Another's thing, I think you are suppose to put the upper balljoint under not over.
Did you use the stock spindles with the drop control arms ? I put some on my truck and didn’t fit on my stock spindles. I hat to put the drop spindles so it gave me about 6 inch drop in the front and it’s to low.
Stock spindles but check the ball joints on the lowering control arms because the nnbs had some trucks with aluminum spindles and some with steel spindles from factory and they have different ball joints one is bigger than the other
You think that if I get the flip kit done and drop it 6 inches alone with that, do you think I could keep my 2 inch drop shackles but just move over the bolt to keep it at 7 inches without needing a c notch
Honestly it’s based big on driving style you can possibly get away with it if you do not carry heavy stuff but if you plan on carrying heavy stuff I’d recommend stock shackles or a c-notch. Worst case scenario try the 7 inch drop and see how it feels for you the stock shackles only take 30ish minutes to swap if you need to swap them.
If I just install lowering front springs do I still have to cut the lower ball bolt to run 17s?? And can I still use that 1in block to run 6in or do I have to remove? Thanks I’m advance
I believe its only for the 4 inch drop that you need to cut ball joint to fit 17s and that rear block is specific to stock differential location after the drop you have to buy a lowering block if you want to lower it more or just throw it out and have a 6 inch drop with the flip kit
Damn looks like that truck needs some brakes, those toros look absolutely toasted. Put some money into the brakes need major maintenance instead of customizations

Bang bang drop gang!!!! 👏
I see the video every time I drop my truck
Great video explaining everything

Nice work!!
Love that look
Had fun helping you! Very detailed! 🤓 love you 💕
BADASSS video well done bro gained a sub for sure
Very nice bro. Very detailed
Can you use lowering springs with the drop control arms to get like a 6” front drop or do you have to use the stock ones?
can you tell the difference between the dropped springs and the regular one? a guy sold me dropped springs but they look to be the same?

Just subscribed. Nice work man 👍

Con los control arms se maneja más cómodo como agencia y gracias
Hey bro i have a 2012 Silverado i have 22" on i want to lower it so the gab is not the big would this help if i change the arm controls
Yea u can use lowering control arms or the spring and spindle in the rear u can use shackles or a flip kit or both with a under bed notch
Looks great, just what I needed, thx
Doesn’t the ball joint on upper control arm bolt to the bottom not top ???
Pretty sure it's bottom
You think a aftermarket strut assembly would change the drop? My tire sticks way out and I cant get the guys to get my truck aligned.
Usually the upper control arm helps with alignment issues they also make specialty upper ball joints it all depends what’s going on with it
Get off set upper control arms
Just saw the 03 Silverado on the freeway
Thanks this video help alot 💯
If u take off the 1in block it’s 6in no? And if you leave it it’s a 7in

@@proyectosloscarnales4512 damn that might be the problem. I’ll be checking up on that soon bro, thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
Based on where you got the arms they have replacement ball joints just get the opposite ones from what you have now. Start there bro 👍🏽
10/4, thanks a lot bro 🤘🏽. Great video you made here.
Great video, can you add the stuff your purchased for the 2500 in your comments area please?
The black truck got lowering control arms you can find them at djm suspension or ihc suspension
Do you think you’ll have camber with just 2 inch drop springs?.. Really want to drop my truck 2/4 but don’t want to mess it up
yes usually the springs give it camber you might get away with just a alignment or running a drop spindle instead of drop spring
fire video keep it up
How much does the angle of the differential and driveshaft change?
where did you buy the lowering spring from? i already ordered the same kit for my nnbs extended can

nice informative video
🔥🔥
How much does the truck bed weigh
My truck bed hits my differential when ever i hit a bump what can i do
4'6 drop
4x4 08 4 door sierra

@@proyectosloscarnales4512 I did the same thing i you u did and some how it went like 8inches it bottoms out hits hard on bumps it has stock shackles
@@proyectosloscarnales4512 hey bro if I get new wheels in the further would I need to replace the ball joints
Do drop trucks have coils or do them take them of ?
depends on which kit you run with some use new drop springs and others use the stock ones and just use lowering spindles or arms
What’s your ig bro? Very detailed video, thanks
Do I have to put lower shocks? Or can u use stock ones
depends how low you go they make specific shocks if you go 3 inch or lower drops use them they are made for that reason
Where you located at pa ?
Do you like the control arm drop or the spindle and spring drop more and why?
Control arms they are better when it comes to alignment if you go lower than 4 inches
@@proyectosloscarnales4512 that's what I went with. Thanks for the very informative video!
@AlteredMood Glad it was helpful and worked for you, that’s why I like doing them!
Let me guess, you guys are in TX. Damn wish you were in NC.
Where u guys aré located
👏🏼🔥🔥🔥
bueno
Any camber
Not with the control arms you can always buy after market upper control arms and do an alignment so you won’t have camber when lowering these trucks
Did you need to c notch it?
You don’t need a c notch or under bed notch for a flip kit alone but if you do 8+ inch drop you do like a flip kit and shackles
Alright brotha thank you and good video btw👌
Thanks!
@@proyectosloscarnales4512 what’s your IG how do I get in touch??
