Brings back nice memories, I did the course many years ago. Good to see it is still going!
Hi John! Yes, six years since you were here!

These are skills that you need, when there is no power on the grid anymore, "Idiocracy" .
Handtools are better as a computer without power.
How many labtops does it take to cut down 1 tree? :-)
Is there a list of books that lay on the table? 2:13
Would be nice to read them as the weather gets colder ;)
They pay you to build your own buildings, genius.
lovely video! can you tell anything about the roof type of the loghouse at the museum you visited at about 20:00? we have this roof type here in austria as a local "speciality" funny to see it in latvia as well
Real timberframe or USian timberframe what do you prefer???
I keep emailing you guys but I don't get a response!

🇱🇻🇱🇻 I think this is the flag you're looking for 😂😂
@@omedolfyes no mistaking, our neighbour Latvia. But could easily be Estonia with the sights of building techniques and history, craftsmanship, our shared geography, our open air museum of traditional historic dwellings very similar. I almost booked on for the Spring course this year, maybe next year. Greetings from Estonia.
2025 already fully booked :/
Not all of them. We will soon announce Autumn 2025. Please send an email to courses@northmen.com if you'd like to be on a pre-notification list. Thank you!
1:49 The rules are too individualistic. What's missing here is the concept of peoplehood. That's what Europeans are missing these days and consequently why we are losing our only homelands.
Exactly, our PEOPLE, our CULTURE, our BIO-SPIRIT.
@@saxonwarrior388 Exactly.
Latvia is Latvia insofar it's populated by Latvians.
Culture is a collective expression of people.
