    Great video buddy. That would be a great day to get all those critters. Looking forward to using Viper ammunition again this spring. Definitely in a new gun good luck on your season

    Alright, see that bad boy in action!! I bet you have been busting at the seams to get out to shoot it. Glad to hear that, most of my shotguns will not handle steel shot. Not sure how tungsten would work in my older shotguns. That is why I never thought about getting ammo from them. That was some awesome shooting, and I don't think you will have a problem getting any squirrels or turkeys with that setup. Thanks for sharing. Juddie - J & J TOA

      I’m with ya on steel/tss in some older guns. I’m really impressed with this setup and I’ll do my best to fill some tags! Thanks Juddie 👍

    Very impressive. Only a couple fliers on all loads at that range is devastating for a yard chicken!

    Looks like a nice, tight pattern. Good luck on your upcoming hunts.

    That thing’ll knock ‘em down! Tight patters. Sounds like you are on some good shot loads!! Get what works and stock up!

    I have bought one of those shotguns and look forward to pattern testing it with the viper ammo I have on hand. I hate to use my ammo up testing it as I will not be replacing this ammo due to the hard time it took to acquire this ammo.

      Appreciate the comment John! Viper ammo went thru some changes this past season and shipping is one thing he’s focused on this next season.

    Great video, the patterns are nice but when you stray from the 10” / 40 yards standard it’s an apple to orange comparison.

    • @tothemaxxoutdoors4771
      @tothemaxxoutdoors4771  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn’t say apples to oranges, general rule of thumb is 70%ish of the pattern every 10 yards at that distance. I will have more on this in a video coming up. This video was the first real test for this gun and that choke with a couple different viper loads. Thanks for the comment.

    No doubt the 1.5 oz of 8.5’s will be deadly for the turkeys!! 😁👍

    What are you using to mount your red dot onto your gun? I don’t like the stock mount that they provide

    • @tothemaxxoutdoors4771
      @tothemaxxoutdoors4771  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m using a self made pic style mount in the drilled and tapped holes. I have not come across an off the shelf mount that I like just yet.

    Any trouble with cycling?

      I did in the very beginning with light lead loads, mine likes to be really clean even now with heavy tss loads. Mine had some sub par machine edges on the elevator that inhibited the action from factory, after that fix it’s been pretty reliable. I will say that when loading the first round into the chamber it has to be slammed, it will not fire if you try to baby the slide down, it will fire the firing pin and not strike the primer. I learned that on a turkey hunt!!!
