The era where idols were still singing live no matter how difficult the choreo was

The Gold Era of Kpop from 2009-2013. I was 12 years old back in 2010 when I discovered 2NE1, T-ara, Bigbang, Superjunior, Miss A, SNSD... Miss that time.
the variety in answers...male, female, soloist, group, rookie, even B-SIDES... it just shows how the quality of music was taken seriously in 2nd gen!!

I entered kpop on around 2012, but the songs that got me into kpop are mostly from 2009 and 2010 so these kinds of videos are very nostalgic 😍😍
Maybe because nowadays they bought songs from foreign composer a lot, not that all of them is bad but it's obviously sound different from old kpop, they want their sound to be more global
-international, but i hope they put more focus on korean composer, some of the idols who compose their song still got that classic kpop sound.
2010 was the first year I got into Kpop. I remember being on a geography field trip in uni and my Korean friend lending me her earbud to hear what she was listening to. It was “Bonamana” by Super Junior. Great memories.

Before going there I didn't know almost anything about South Korea and after a few days...BOOOOM...Orange Caramel "Magic Girl"...I was so confused about the craziness of that music but since that moment I discovered a new universe

Man... thank you for making this video, brought back sooo many memories. 2010 era was on another level, soo much better than today's era. 2010's had soo many different concepts for groups, today's era all you see is cute and school boy/girl concepts soo much that it's not interesting anymore. 2010 era will always have a place in my heart, glad I was able to witness that era.

This is the year where i was HEAVILY obsessed with kpop and kdramas/variety shows lol. Surprising to see how some of the most popular songs of the year were only voted on by 1 person. What the heck was the voting criteria.

SNSD really went against the grain with Hoot, everyone was releasing electronic synth heavy songs and they dropped a more retro sounding song. Really made them stand out in every right way!
