That green chutney with puran poli broke my heart😭😭being a Maharashtrian and belonging to a Marathi family where we make puran poli on daily bases it hurts, authentically with puran poli you get katta chi amti(कट्टा ची आमटी) which is a rassa type consistency and on a spicy side which goes well sweet puran poli🥰
Yes, the combination to die for🤤🤤
तू daily basis वर पुरण पोळी खाते 😮.... थोडी अतिशयोक्ती नाही झाली 😅
😂💯
I think unhone thalipeeth/wada pav ka chutney galti se place kr dia pura poli ke sath.
U can eat puran poli sometimes with aamras
Being a maharastrian
That chutney with puranpoli gave me heart attack ☠️
Actually at least गुळवणी tari dyayachi
Yesss 🥲

Same here😢😢
Konse murakh ne banaya ये combo 🤣
Loved the way Satyam remember small details of Maharashtrian food...he recognised that groundnut powder is missing in sabudana khichadi..Also you won the hearts of most of Maharashtrians when you said Varan Bhat is the best dish ❤
And Akshay sung exact tune of Aarti🙂
You guys must visit Pune.

Yes bro bakharvadi is a must
Aaswad is loveeee ❤
Aaswad is best❤❤
Gajanan Vada Pav & Mamledar Misal (Thane)
Half the dishes they tasted are not even authentic 😂
That puranpoli is so dry.. We must pour generous amount of desi ghee on it.. Then have it.. It's heavenly... 😍
Also the thickness... garma garam puran poli with generous amount of tuup (ghee) paired with homemade kanda bhajiya and maharashtrian kadhi (that is spicy and without pakoda as there's in punjabi kadhi) for that sweet n namkeen balance.... Aye hayeee 💗😘 and the satifaction after eating that 😌

Mumbai style puranpoli is dry powdery powdery.
Waran-Bhat is not just a complete food (with ghee-namak-nimbu aur achaar).
It's an emotion ❤

Not ghee, tup!

I'm Gujarati who lived my whole life in Mumbai and eats Marathi food almost 3-4 times in a week but feel sad that Delhi doesn't have any decent food joints who cook and serve authentic Marathi food. Please come to Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Amravati, Nagpur and Kolhapur for authentic Marathi food then you guys will agree what bad foods you try as a Marathi food.
Delhi has the best Street food compared to any other state. Delhi has food joints run by Marathi people themselves. I am sure they make authentic foods. I never saw any person from Delhi saying any bad things about Marathi foods which are sold in Delhi. Mostly Delhi people criticize Mumbai street food after travelling to Mumbai, not any Marathi food sold in Delhi.
One more thing, is not the aamrasi Puri and Amrakhand actually authentic Gujarati food?
@@DannycageGhostrider
Aam ras puri and amrakhand are authentic Maharashtrian dishes.
You are so right 👍👍
Delhi people have wrong habit of stereotyping other parts of India they don't know anything beyond pav recipes from Maharashtra
Hahaha sahi kaha. kuchh bhi authentic nahi dikh raha
I am a Bengali living in Pune with my Maharashtrian wife. Maharashtrian cuisine has some of the most interesting and absolutely delicious dishes. We love our tikhat misal pav on a Sunday morning, a vada pav on the go, mutton thali with bhakri and indrayani rice and of course the soul soother - varan bhaat with koshimbir!
As a bengali, I wish I could try them
And don't tell me you haven't introduced her w/ the Bengali cuisine........first of all Bangal or Ghoti???
@@Avi_lays Yes, of course she has been introduced to bengali culture, that's part of the process. And we both have an equal amount of appreciation for each other's cultures.
@@optionssniper thank you for the recommendation!
@@Avi_lays I love this unnecessary need to inquir about other peoples life and act lile it's your right 😂
As I was reading the comments i was shocked that everybody was mentioning all famous Maharashtrian dishes but nobody mentioned Masale Bhat with Koshambir.
Guys you should try it..
Masale bhaat with tup🙌
Yesss
Masale bhat anhi kadhi!!❤
I get such warm vibes from Satyam. Ofc all of the OK tested crew are amazing, but he just seems such a gentleman ❤
As a Maharashtrian i always wanted to see ok tested doing something related to the state.
And this video comes as a wholesome surprise ❤❤

I'm a maharashtrian and I just loved this video............when satyam said varan bhat that's like the cherry on the cake😍you guys should try -hot varan bhat kadi tup or varan bhat nimbu and tup(home made butter basically).....trust me it's heaven 😍❤
As you guys said dadar ganpati..
Here is the video idea: go for “Laalbaugh cha Raja during Ganapati Season” spend your 10days there.. you guys will love it.. basically those 10days during ganpati in Maharashtra has different fanbase..❤️❤️
Damn sure you will love it..❤️❤️
There are lots of dishes which are famous.. kothimbir vadi is one of my favorites. Aluvadi, tambda and pandhara rassa (red and white chicken gravy), malavani chicken (chicken made in kokan side), multiple fish dishes like fried Pomfret, fried surmai, prawns masala, bangda and bombil fry and many more. We make stuffed Pomfret as well. You will get multiple types of chutney.. like coconut chutney, mirchi thecha ( very spicy), many types of pickles and so on. Multiple drinks u can try like aam panha, solkadhi, taak (buttermilk), Martha, masala milk, kokam sharabat, banana shikaran etc. In sweets you can have sheera, modak, shrikhand, chirote, anarasa, amba vadi (mango burfi) and many more.. pohe, upma, chivada, misal, sabudana vada these are the sna KS that you guys should try.
1.Thalipeeth you should have garam garam, in winters
2. Misal pav we don’t get it here outside usually I make it at home. Pav we get it from Gurgaon (Mumbaikar’s) they have close Maharashtrian products.
3. Pav bhaji you can try from Lajpat Nagar , jhaakas pav bhaji.
4. Vada pav, lot of places serves but with authentic pav you will get it in Mumbaikar’s or there is one cart in sector 30 Gurgaon. In Delhi jhakaas pav bhaji you will get vadapav as well
5. Aamras should be made from hapus only otherwise it won’t taste authentic.
6. Sabudana khichadi and all Maharashtrian breakfast you will get it good at Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi or Delhi hat they have canteen.
We have a lot of maharashtrian dishes which is not that popular in Delhi but it’s popular in Maharashtra.
You guys should cover Ganesh festival in Delhi, we celebrate here in Delhi it’s quite close to every Maharashtrian family.
Modak specially u missed out. Seafood also is the essential part of Maharashtrian cuisine. Still loved watching that u liked the Maharashtrian food that u tried today.😊💜
Jhinga
So the best Maharashtrian Food in Delhi is at:
1. Maharashtra Food Stall in Delhi Haat, INA. Try anything over there it is really good. Tad pricey but being a Maharashtrian in Delhi I enjoy it. Zhunka Bhakar is amazing over there.
2. Maharashtra Sadan in Copernicus Marg. The service is bad but the food is somewhat okay.
Delhi doesn't serve authentic Marathi food and also the service in hotels of Delhi is pathetically slow. Mumbai is very very fast in serving food and quality too.
Love OK tested.
We definitely need part 2 of this 🥺 omg absolutely loved this video!!
As Maharashtrian we don't have Puran poli with green chutney, its heavenly delicious if you pour 1tsp Desi ghee on hot puran poli, in these vedio Puran poli is very dry it should be soft and moist,

Why the chutney with the pooran poli?????? There should be Tup(ghee) dhoodh with Puran Poli

Many Maharashtrian Konkani delicacies are not known to the outer world 😢 but I love that atleast I know how to make them now.
Puran poli looks exactly like bobbatlu/bhakshalu made in Telugu States. We have it with ghee and it tastes great when eaten hot with good amount of ghee on it.
In Telangana (especially border states) we call them poornam polelu. A few of these dishes are actually dishes I grew up with as well. Puri + maamidi rasam, sabudana khichidi. We also eat thaali peeth, we just call it thaali pindi or sarva pindi
What a creative song at last u people are artist too
You will know the real taste of Maharashtrian food only if you visit Maharashtra and try every possible Magrashtrian dish.☺️😋 And try puranpoli with aamrus.. This combination is also very nice 🥰

U guys should consider covering Ganpati festival. The vibe is on different level altogether
Yesss, maharashtra would love to welcome ok tested , come to maharashtra and you will get bunch of mouth bursting flavours and dishes ❤
Thalipeeth has a smoky flavour because the atta mix (wheat, jowar, bajri, etc) is pre-roasted..hence the name "bhajani (roasted) thalipeeth". Also, unlike wheat-based rotis like chapati, thepla, or paratha, thalipeeth ko belan se roll nahi kar sakte. Haath se banana padta hai greasy surface par rakhkar (e.g. doodh ke packet ka andar wala hissa), so it takes a lot of practise (and patience!). Aapko thalipeeth Maharashtra mein try karna chahiye. U will definitely love it. In Mumbai, do visit Maharashtrian restaurants like Panshikar, Aswad, Vinay, and others in Marathi-majority areas like Girgaon and Dadar. They serve beautiful, tasty, nutritious, pure veg Maharashtrian dishes like kande pohe, thalipeeth, kothimbir vadi, aamti, patal bhaji, usal, misal, kat vada (batata vada + spicy rassa - yummm!), puran poli, pithala bhakari, shrikhand/amrakhand, sabudana vada/khichdi, puri bhaji, kokam sarbat, solkadi, piyush + numerous "upvas" items + festival specialities like ukdiche modak (during Ganpati). Source: I am a Girgaonkar, born and bred and Maharashtrian food is one of my favourites 😊
For the 1st time ever you guys have tried MAHARASHTRIAN food.. I have been following you from past five years. There's so much more that marathi cusions offers. Do try more.. Try 'Vidharbh' another part of Maharashtra. Their authentic 'Saoji 'flavour in non veg will blow you. ❤lots of love
