Encounter with a CAT KILLER WOLVERINE

I encountered this wolverine on a hunting trip in fall 2016. I was just crossing the road when I saw the wolverine running down the road with a cat in its mouth. When he saw me he dropped the cat and kept coming closer to me.
The wolverine had killed the cat from the front yard of a nearby house. Gladly it dropped the cat so I could return it to be buried by it's owners.

Great video! Man, I love Finland! It is probably the only country in Europe alongside Sweden where you can regularly bump into bears, wolves and wolverines if you venture just a little bit deeper into forest.

mitenhän tuo on saanut kissan kiinni . täälläpäin eräs ilves on syönyt jo kymmeniä kissoja minultakin yhden . viimeiselle kissalleni hankin piikkikaulapannan kerran on ilves purru niskasta mutta piikit puri takaisin . toista kertaa ei oo purru vaikka kohtaamisia on ollut jo kymmenisen kertaa. ilvekset tulee aina pihaan kun on sumua niitä osaa jo odottaa.

Ahma on luontoomme kuuluva veijari eikä se ole mikään "tappaja" vaan saalistaa ruokansa kuten vaikkapa pääskynen ja siilikin.

C'mon man. There's only 2 official languages in Finland and english is not one of them. There's also Saame, but it does not have official language status. So there's like no point in approaching Finnish wolverine in English. He made an educated guess and got it right.
