- Time for a change for the hellcat interior. Finally doing somthing to it. Taking out cluster cover, gear shifter, with trim, knob /ac trim, steering wheel trim and shifters.

Bro, I swear I gotta pay you to remove my trim. Im fina break somethin 😅
You want break it lol. Just fast forward the video and pause it when you can see the back of the trim. Use that to guide. Ones you get one side loose the other side comes out easier. It's so many clips that you really can't mess it up. Make sure you use a prytool also.
What is the area around the knobs called? Where you have the sport mode and hazard lights

I'm not sure but if I know mopar it's prob just clips holding it on and a plug for the power.

No you dont have to but if your doing your steering wheel meaning your airbag be careful with it. Reason i did is becouse the horn .If your only doing your dash your good.

dealer is telling me i have to take apart the entire dash in order to install this... after watching this video (i have a 2022 challenger hellcat) and the pieces look identical... pretty sure they just want labor charges and i can just unclip it and install.. what you think?
Yeah your dealer trying to get that money. It's just clips holding the trim on. Just try it yourself. Use a pry tool to pull the trim out and if the dash comes with it (which I doubt) it prob would be just 4 philip's head screws holding it on. Hope you can get it done yourself tho. Goodluck

@@bigswervo434 use a prytool to unclipp the sides. Its a set of tabs on both sides of the vent
Look on the video at 1:44 to see what I mean. I only needed the 2 overlays out to paint them.

It's called a pry tool. You can get a set from walmart, harbor freight a auto parts store , lowes or order off amazon. Under 5$

I have a 2016 SXT Charger and thanks to ur info I swapped the stock AC controller with a one from Challenger with a STP, I used alpha obd to unlock the sport mode, perf pages, and super track pak, everything works now, except for the launch control, I need to change the chassis number in alfa obd in order to make it work, so if anybody knows what chassis number should I enter to make the launch control work, I would be very grateful.

What the piece you using to take it off
It's called a Pry tool. Type it in on google and you'll get abunch of different links for them. They have kits now that comes with all kinds for the low.

What about the vent in the passenger side how do I take that out out?
Same method use a pry tool. I only painted the covers.

After I removed my shifter knob and put it back, the light on it that shows which gear I’m in stopped coming back on. Any ideas on how to fix that?
