An Alternativ to Fuji 100 IV is the Fuji X20 from 2013. It has a ")2/3 inch X-trans sensor. It also packs a 28-110 zoom i FF terms. It is also smaller and liter and have image stabilisation in the lens. I use it as walk around camera. You have to find it second hand.
Thanks for your review. I'm waiting for the camera here in South America. The model was a sales success and quickly sold out all over the world, and it was no different here. looking forward to the beauty of a 35mm in hand.
I would add for street photography, try the dr400 extended dynamic range mode. The dr400 mode, in short, distributes the exposure more evenly thru the exposure of the images, removing the necessity of underexposing for highlights. It does this by requiring you to shoot at iso 500 or higher. This allows the camera to underexpose the hi lights of an image while boosting the mid tones and shadows…. basically what you eventually do in post if you underexposed your images. It does all of these calculations prior to the analog to digital conversion, so it works in RAW! That coupled with the highlight curves, enable me to get very natural film, like highlight rolloffs
Hi @yrsa! Thanks for the great review 👍 I am (not so patiently) waiting for an x100vi that I ordered in Feb. 😞 I am glad to see that you got yours! I picked up the SmallRig grip/base-plate for the x100vi, but how does it feel in your hand with the stock grip? I hope to use the x100vi as an EDC camera and for street photography. Where do you go in Orlando for street photography? (I am in Melbourne, FL) Thanks!
I will be curios to find out what you think of this camera after using it for awhile. I am surprised by any camera anymore that doesn't have a screen that can be flipped to be viewed from in front. Right now, I tend to take the big jump from my R5 or R7 to my cell phone. That is a big jump and one that many people don't approve of. The big difference for me is II don't usually share my cellphone pictures, just my R5 and R7 pictures. A smaller camera that was still worthy of sharing images would be nice.
It’s not at all. It’s not cheap, but when you look at a general spread of cameras and their cost, it’s not very expensive. If it doesn’t represent good value for your requirements, just leave it. I have 4 different Fuji cameras at present. I haven’t bought this one as it’s a fixed 35mm. I only shoot primes, but I want the option, so wouldn’t bother. It’s more of a TH-cam trend than anything else. Great camera, but only if it works for you. 👍👍👍
@@mattbrodiephotographyworks for me as a travel camera. Even with the digital crop to 49 and 70mm, images are excellent and razor sharp. My main kits are Canon full frame and M series cropped sensor. The Fuji sims are great. Given every one of my Canon L lenses cost more the the X100VI, and the Fuji gets 90+ % of the image quality, it’s actually good VFM. In context my new iPhone 15 Pro Max cost nearly as much (big storage). Yes that can also take good photos and do lots of other stuff, but high quality equipment is never cheap.
Looks good. Just a shame the screen doesn't flip out so if you're doing selfies, you can frame the pictures right. Also, some form of remote would be useful. - Jeff

I think I'm in love. 😍 Thank you for the review.
You’re welcome 😊

Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching 😊
My local shop had them sitting on the shelf for a week on release. I should have gotten one and then resold it if I got bored of it.
Yeah they are so hard to get a hold of right now!
Awesome review. Any chance you could post a link to your orange strap? Thanks!
Oh my leather strap? I made it myself 🤗
@@YrsaClicksdo you sell them? :)
Beautiful and sensual takes! Also, take good care of that Fiddle-leaf fig. Those are sensitive to the slightest changes. :)
Thank you and yes - I did overwater it one weekend and it dropped like 10 leaves 😂
Been using Fujifilm for many years, by the way love the strap, where did you buy it ?
Nice, and thank you! I actually made it, there's a video here where my friend teaches me how to work with leather 😊
Now photographers are as beautiful as the models 😮
aww thanks 😊
Great review thanks. Where can I buy that cool camera strap? 😊
Thanks for watching, I made it myself so there's only one 😅 You can watch that episode here th-cam.com/video/yrGnVfOpE3o/w-d-xo.html 😊
How were you able to get the camera? Was it by pre order? because it’s been out of stock for quite some time. Any recommendations?
I bought it overpriced through a website that got it in stock months ago 😅
0:36 talking like THIS going to get you invited to A LOT of camera launch events and trips going forward 🔥
Haha we'll see 😊 Thanks for watching!

I don't do a lot in Orlando since I live more south, but it is perfect for traveling.

You are absolutely right, to do content or "selfie style stuff" it is a bit tricky without the screen. 😊😊 I'll have an update coming in the future
Unfortunately, the camera is crazy expensive.
…so are eggs and milk!
