So I'm that fan. I starting following Nick a few years ago and was so inspired by his work I attend the local community college and got my degree in photography. Living and working in Las Vegas I see celebrities almost daily, but when I was driving around Valley of Fire with my family and saw a guy that resembled my favorite landscape photographer I was floored. The best part was as Nick passed me he nodded (like guys passing one another usually do to show I'm no threat while at the same time saying 'sup) I turned to my wife and said that looked like a youtuber I follow. It wasn't until I saw Nick pull off with his truck that I lost me s**t. I kinda screamed OMG that's Nick Page. My wife and kids could care less that I was totally fan girling out. Now I will say this as Nick drove away I was still in shock that he was in my backyard (geographically ) I chalked it up to a miss opportunity, but my wife mentioned she had never seen me so amped up over seeing someone. Now keep in mind I'm a combat veteran who does not show excitement very often. So i said we are gonna load up in the truck and see if we bump into Nick. I didn't want to interfere with his reason for being in Valley of Fire so I said if we see him cool, if not well then missed opportunity. 2 miles down the road I see his truck, then started scanning 5he landscape and I see this lone bearded guy climbing a fairly large rock structure and I yelled from my truck (it was at this point I once again fan girled) are you Nick Page. He replied I am. I don't recall much after that becuase I was super excited to meet Nick. I asked to take a pic with him and he said sure. I can honestly say that meeting was one for the books for me. Nick stopped what he was doing descended the mountain he was climbing just to take a pic with me. Nick has been of the most genuine people I've ever met. Even though our meeting was only 5 to 10 minutes long I will say it was awesome. Thank you Nick you made a 40 year old combat vet come true of just meeting with him and being a cool guy. My reaction to meeting Nick on video was legit and meant the world to me. Thanks again.

Hi, Nick. Tacoma guy here. After seeing your f4 videos, a friend a I left a few days ago to go to Death Valley and this park. Just got back. Geeze. You ought to see this place now! The Spring greens are friggin' nutty, and even the wildflowers are beginning. I hadn't a clue this place even existed. It's seriouly a phenomenal place and even better to hide our in it during the Apocalypse. No place better to disappear than a stunning desert!
Huge fan of all you guys. Your videos, separately and together, are always a bright spot. These days? It's really sweet to go from one of you to the other and then to your f4 blog.
Keep them coming if you can.
You've all got a great thing going, and thousands are happy to share in it.
    Tx

This for me is one of your best videos. I loved how you captured the sense of being rushed, something we all have experienced at that time of day, and I really appreciate the sense of being there with you. You changed camera angles multiple times in that brief period! It was also technically helpful. And the chat with Thomas at the end, felt authentic. Reminded me of end of the day chats I had with my dad. Something nicely universal about it.
